“Toxic and possessive”-two words you never want to hear in connection to a relationship. But when it came to the love story between Abigail White and Bradley Lewis, what other descriptors could be used? The young couple was notorious for their arguments, rumors of infidelity and taking their relationship problems online. Yet even their reputation as an unhealthy match couldn’t prepare those who knew the couple best, for the unfathomable lengths that one person would go to in the heat of the moment. But can an act so heinous “just happen”?

That poor kid😢. My dad was in the same situation, in his case he witnessed his dad personally ended his mom’s life. He brought that trauma with him and it affects every aspect of his life, including us, his family. Sadly he has never healed from his childhood trauma. I hope this kid gets the help he needs to be able to live a happy, healthy life❤

@a hungry ghost crying piteously for food My heart goes out to your family and your husband. I have some understanding and experience with this type of scenario and i want to give you hope and let you know that it IS possible to heal from trauma like that, but it requires help. I am not talking about psychatrists and psychologists who rarely ever actually know how to heal the trauma, but for myself, I took a chance on something called Reiki. I was very skeptical about it as it's a method of healing through energy (physical contact isn't even required) I was desperate for healing in my life though and started going as a last resort, as one of those "I've tried everything else". I can't explain to you exactly how it all worked, I was lucky enough to find a trusted person that I saw several times over a few month span, and from that very fist session, things opened up inside me that I had forgotten about, I even cried for no reason I could explain while on the table. Afterwards I had strange dreams and thought about things differently in random ways, I got angry, the it passed. It was like a roller coaster of emotions and experience unblocked inside me. Within six months of that first healing session, I could hardly believe the change inside of me. The nightmares were gone, the anxiety that I had lived with every day, just... gone. Inside I feel whole and healed for the first time in my life. My relationships have changed in positive and dramatic ways. I share this story with you because I truly believe from my heart, it can help your husband. Maybe even someone else reading this. Sending you and your family much love, care, and respect for all that you go through together ❤

She’s recently been quoted from prison saying “they should take into account and consideration our needs, and allow men and women to have overnight stays together. I would like to know what other prisoners think about this, as quite a few girls here agree” on the subject about letting her new BF stay the night….. A man is dead, children are fatherless & traumatised & have been ripped from their home, whole worlds turned upside down. Prison is supposed to a place for you to reflect on your actions and reform, not a holiday camp but yet here she is, putting all of her energy in being mad because she’s not getting laid. Joke.

Having witnessed those things in childhood is absolutely no excuse. There are so many of us, who went through the same, but would never dream of acting out the way she did. ‘Internet doctors’ giving the BPD diagnosis just made excuses for her to use for her behaviour. Also, most who suffer BPD, do not behave this way. It’s not an excuse.

It’s definitely not an excuse but a reason why we need to focus deeper on those who struggled with there mental health. Part of the reason for her actions ≠ excuse I’m saying “part” because she still had an active conscious choice in her actions. I had what one would call a “tragic” childhood and I’ve been in a beyond abusive relationship, yet I would never abuse anyone. But I’m sure it okayed a role. That doesn’t make it an excuse, the consequences remain the same, as they should.

deb. I 100% agree. Having children does make it harder, especially if you're severely abused, brainwashed, downtrodden. Some victims may leave sooner for their kids sake. In a more severe case the abuser will use the children as weapons, leverage making life beyond hard for the victim and harder to leave. Also there's more risk involved when leaving with children, its less risky if there's only one person escaping. There's also a possibility if you can't take your children with you the abuser may take out their anger on them.

Please remember that not everyone with BPD is like this. I was diagnosed 2 years ago and I’ve been in treatment. You aren’t unaware with BPD. You know what you’re doing and why you’re doing it. Your feelings are just so intense that you become someone unrecognizable. There’s a lot to the disorder, not just bouts of irrational anger. We may get 2x angry as a normal person but we also get 2x sad, 2x lonely, 2x happy. It’s like whatever emotion is squared lol. Double what it should be. Too intense. I guess what I’m saying is, please don’t use one persons wrongdoings as a gauge for how people with BPD behave. We hurt a lot, and already have a bad reputation in the masses

One thing that pisses me off is when they threaten to take their own life if their partner doesn't stay. Not to sound cruel or anything but just keep moving. Especially if there are kids involved, take your kids and go. You can report it to someone who has the degree to handle it. Don't hold no guilt over walking away from a toxic person that threatens you or to end their own life. If their life is the sum of another person, they need special care that unfortunately you can't provide. I've noticed with these stories too that the one who keeps saying they will end their life, is the one that winds up ending their soft hearted spouse who felt like they could change the abuser. Like Elsa says.......

To anyone in a toxic relationship know this it NEVER gets better no matter what you do, no matter how hard you try. If you stay with a toxic person who gaslights you to blind you from the truth either a coffin or prison sentence awaits you. People who truly suffer and deal with mental illness don't use it as a crutch to be cruel. Nope. Dealt with a friend whos illness became worse from 18 -36 the more she refused meds .I worked in a MH hospital that showed me People with true mental illness don't use it as an excuse. They can have integrity even in their darkness.
