I suffer from addiction problems, I would never blame anyone else but my stupid brain. And the physical pain I'm in ever day for 18 years. And with all due respect, you don't nearly enough about the real Blake or Mitch to say whether they were bad husband or father. Nobody's perfect. She mightve been a nightmare strong force to deal with herself. Yes it's sad she died do tragically young, but it happens to most genius singers, incase you haven't noticed. They all dropped off like flies from addiction issues. She was a person during it and she needed to be shown concern- not just concern of a star facing problems, but the concern of and for another human being. People stopped treating her like a human like they do with every other celebrity and she couldn't handle it. She was a person "before" it, but she was also a person during and after everything. People need to stop forgetting that celebrities are people and need to be helped and held to the same standard as everyone else. If we have interventions and prevent people from exhibiting certain behaviors because we fear for their mentality and well-being, then we should help celebrities in need too- even if that means preventing them from hurting themselves. Don't let a "rock star" live a "rock star life" just because they can- they'll end up hurting themselves and people will view it as nothing more than a flower wilting in the sun. People could've and should've done more to help her help herself and it's incredibly wrong and negligent to say "oh we can only look back now in appreciation" rather than allowing people to explore the need to prevent anything like this from happening to another person. The whole point of saying "we lost a gift" is to open the discussion of preventing it from happening again. Do not simply appreciate her, make her the model of what not to do as a society.

As a musician or anyone who appreciates music knows, her talent and songwriting was off the charts. It literally bores a hole in my soul to think no one rose up in her life to help her, to tell her NO when she needed it, to hug her when she felt down or lost, to tell her she was not only special and unique, she was music in human form and the world needed her. All you ass hats that have nothing to say but "she was drunk and high" are the reason she is not here. She just needed a strong presence in her life. She was an absolute genius, the music flowed through her veins! This is one of the best versions ever. The music industry needs to do better to protect people 💕 all in all though, Amy was a wonderful gal, and we’re all flawed aren’t we. Can’t imagine being in the spotlight like she was

I hope I was able to see her live. Media had given her bad image when I was teenager. For years, I've been hearing her name in the news and I avoided listening to her (never knew her genre or her songs at all). Just last year when I was at my low, discovered her songs and it, for some reason, consoled me. Her voice is so therapeutic to my ears and makes me sleep fast. hehe! I hope Amy's soul is at peace and happy wherever she is.

Amy Winehouse is proof that an artist has to deliver a great performance no matter what. She drinks but succeeds in blowing the minds of the audience with her talent. So shame on the other artists who keep coming up with lame excuses that they're drunk, high, or tired and so can't or failed to perform well.
