24/7 Refrigerator in May 2024: I purchased two LiFePo4 batteries and a EA Sun Power MPPT charge controller for a total of three controllers. Check out the Xiao Xiang Electric mobile application that connects to the batteries via Bluetooth with me. Also, the PowMr continues to cause as many problems as it solves and some other very important equipment failures leaves me without a darkness device for emergency charging, costing even more money, trouble, and time. However, my big air conditioner failures could be a blessing more than a curse in a way, as tying out a small A/C turns out to be way more sustainable than the larger one, particularly on cloudy days. Both small units could be more than just a solution and more like temporary off-grid air conditioning perfection.
More to come!
I realize there are a few typo's and I probably used "Absorption" instead of "Bulk" or "Bulk Absorption" or even "Boost" a few times. Editing such a long video on a relatively tiny tablet screen with mediocre software is grueling, then a day of poor internet quality and a lot of mobile data to upload. I watch it over and over, and still miss things on the poor setup I have for editing videos. I watch them on the big screen and sometimes I just have to let something fly if it's pretty much finished, instead of taking over 2.5 hours to re-process, copy, and re-watch each time. Also, like I said, the terminology and what exactly is done for different modes between the variety of controllers isn't universal, but it's close enough to get confusing pretty quick, but I'm also always learning.
It would seem that I only get the two adjustments on my MPPT chargers, but it appears that it may be using more than just those two modes, most likely three, and not just simply switching "Bulk/Boost" on at 27v and off at 28.8v. This or other modes are not supposed to be the same as "Equalization" and "Float" for Lead Acid battery types and may be why I need to connect my computer to figure these out and adjust these, or use the "USE" battery type that will allow me to adjust all four manually. I should've mentioned this in the video, but I forgot until after it was uploaded, so you at least can read it here. There are three modes listed in the manuals other than "night" mode. I still don't understand them all completely and will be doing some more research with an update posted in the comments one day. I though I had the names and modes figured out and almost memorized for each device then realize I can't remember what exactly is this or that way down the line of information and it can get lost or confused without a physical list. Why didn't I think of just writing them all down on some paper or labels before?
