In this episode I camp in an picturesque off-grid mountain setting that rivals a beautiful painting! At about 10,000 FT in elevation, the views are gorgeous and the wildflowers are popping! This is my kind of scenery! I ❤️ the Mountains!

Get a cordless impact and 3/4” socket for the trailer stabilizers. It will make it super fast and then you just need a 13/16” for the trailer lug nuts and probably a 7/8” for the truck.

Try my grandma’s recipe, easy to make. Brown 80% Hamburger with a TBLS of minced Garlic and dice a small yellow onion. Salt pepper to taste. Pour in strainer. Strain to get the grease out. Put back in skillet. Pour in 1 can of tomato soup, 1 can of beef consume’, a 6oz can of tomato paste, and drained 1 can sliced mushrooms. Stir in all well and let simmer for about 20 min or so to thicken. Spoon over thick spaghetti cooked in another pot. Add mozzarella and/or Parmesan to taste. Don’t forget Garlic bread!

Hi Cathy, Roger here I passed you the other day on your way up to the top of the mountain. The Beaver mountain area is beautiful and I enjoyed it as well. I live in St George so this is like my back yard. I’m retired so I’m out and about every day exploring. Next week I’ll be in Montana and Idaho traveling to some of my favorite places. Safe travels.

I watched this a couple times, second time with fill volume closing my eyes for a bit to listen to the sounds of the birds wishing I could be there in person. I can confirm, it's not a Sasquatch shelter... though my son (8yrs old) is a little wild. He built it last year. Surprised to see it held up so well through the winter. Beautiful place, fishing nearby too.

Well you are certainly eating NOT like a highway hobo! HAHAHA! That "bushcraft shelter" likely made by a backpacker to be secure from bears. High altitude life is almost always the best. That little creekside trail..... Often great places to rest, snack, idle, and wait for the local wildlife to appear. Especially very early morning! Thanks for showing us another fabulous place of the country.

Hello Cat, I really enjoyed this video. You are fortunate that you don't get altitude sickness at this altitude. 10,000 wow! Have you considered gettting a cordless drill/driver to use on the jacks? It will make raising and lowering the jacks much easier, and quicker.

Glad to see you finally made it into the Fish Lake National Forest. I've been telling you for a while how beautiful it is. I recognize the places you went. I was surprised there was no footage of Fish Lake itself. It is spectacular. I'm sure you noticed all of the volcanic formations in the area. Most people don't realize how volcanic that region is.

Agree, would rather have a camp there. People who crowd the lakes can have the overcrowded areas. When you can not see anyone else, more likely to see more wildlife. Again been in that area and would go again. Great video CAT 🐈. Till next week , take care......

I spent a couple of weeks in my van in similar boondocking sites in southwest Colorado. I was amazed by the jam packed campgrounds and open empty forest access boondocking in mid summer.

Excellent video Catherine. The was a Bigfoot show on PBS last night where they caught a Bigfoot in a cage with video of them taking hair and blood samples after they tranquilized it. Then somebody didn't lock the cage and a big argument because it got out overnight. If this was real it would be all over the news and KZfaq. They did a great job on the Bigfoot costume. Got to keep that folklore going.
