Would you consider adding a 2nd matching light to the right of the sliding door and put a dimmer switch on the inside for more even light and better mood lighting when needed?

Curious, if you live in an HoA community and if so, do they require a process of evaluating before approving? I've been wanting to do something like this as well but our HOA is prohibitively strict.
