Very nice clean up mate. Your system looks way better looking now. I will suggest you get the Tri-metric battery Monitor for accurate readings on your battery Bank and finally get the Battery Extra EX02 12-120-800 Desulfactor to keep you batteries healthy and last longer. Hi, yeah it looks a lot better now. I have a BMV702 monitor and plan to make a raspberry pi based battery monitoring system like the emonpi. Also I think i would have to import the trimetric system here. In theory I dont need a battery desulfator as my tesla chargers Solar Tracker 5 does that already. So far there seems to be no sulfation on the plates, although the batteries are very young. I check the specific gravities con a regular basis and they are all super constant and equal and very high, up 1.28 - 1.3. Im not sure but i think that that means that there is no sulfation going on. I will keep a close eye on it though and if i see any build up I will install that english desulfator as they dont cost much. thanks for your comment! I look forward to seeing Stevie's wind turbine up and running as that is the next logical step for my system too ;)

I would be very careful about not connecting the two inverters together, both from a synchronisation point of view but also from a ground fault current loop point of view, especially as they share the same battery bank. What you could to stop someone from putting both inverters online at the same time is to use a mechanically interlinked automatic transfer switch, that would physically stop one relay from engaging while the other is engaged but still allow for one to take over from the other one when one of them fails. It;s the same type that's used for generator backup systems so that you would never end up with a generator directly connected to the grid, as when that happens and the grid comes online again it _will_ force your generator in sync with spectacular results! Also having a running generator connected to a dead grid is a recipe for killing linesmen trying to fix the grid...

Hi Aye, I use a Victron BMV702 to monitor the batteries state of charge. By control do you mean charge? I use a Tesla Chargers Solar TRacker 5 Ex to charge and I have an MPP Solar PIP 2424 as a back up for the charger and Inverter. My Inverter is an old 4000W Studer. Hope that helps! yes, its a backup in case my other charge controller and inverter have a problem.
