Love the new bumper - looks great!! Also love the in-depth detail look at how you exactly match the color in your paint shop - very interesting and once again shows the precision and attention to detail that encompasses all that EOG does!

@Crumb, 2003, we built our ExpeditionVehicle on a 1996 Ford CF8000 commercial truck. GVWR -- 29,000#. Weight across the scale -- 14,000#. Cargo capacity -- about seven ton.

I absolutely love your trucks. You really make a solid vehicle, but do you guys do Kevlar and/or Line-x paint jobs? For a truck like that the expense of it I would want to protect that body and frame if possible from corrosion and scratches from tree limbs and such. Also I think the murdered out look would be insane on that big of a truck.

Our M.O. is creating a bespoke, factory inspired pickup that looks like it came straight from the manufacturer. If a customer insisted on Kevlar paint, it could be discussed, but we take pride in the factory finish created when we color match our bumpers, bed, and flares to the truck.

We do not, the 550/5500s come with massive upgraded brakes.

We have lots of footage with our gooseneck trailers in videos on here for shows or expos. We build fifth wheel setups but do not have content with them on our trucks as we typically pull gooseneck.

@@elevationoffgrid 2003, we fabricated our ExpeditionVehicle with a fifth-wheel hitch for the toy-hauler I fabricated on a similar commercial chassis. . After a decade or so, I switched for an experiment with a goose-neck combo. This newer hitch combo has less bounce and greater articulation.
