i love the formality of this video. coming from someone in an incredibly low elo especially, it’s so interesting to see how much you think about during lane, roaming, and ability timers, and how it affects how you trade and farm, and to do it in a way where you beat an irelia in lane with kha zix is fascinating.

Been watching Pekin for quite some time now. Love the idea of an off-meta climb to Masters XD An idea I have and I've never seen him play it but Ornn mid would be fun to watch!

Kha main here. I usually evolve R against auto attacking champs as it allows more downtime to be untargetable, making outplays more possible. E evolve is also good but it’s usually better when your sole goal is to kill a squishy and get out as fast as you can. Q evolve first is usually for when you’re farming in the jungle and behind, and isn’t the most useful in lane. You can probably make use of it if you’re gonna roam instead of farm in lane, but I usually go E or R evolve to really snowball.

Lets see some Skarner mid for Garrett Hafeli, they've been asking for about two years and this is the perfect opportunity.

This new series is really good! Looking forward to some of the more strong off-meta picks like Kindred and Kayle which are pretty underplayed considering they work fairly well. On the other hand, I'm also looking forward to stuff like tank Kassadin and bruiser Nidalee (although this one is probably a little too janky).

I like that you do multiple games in one video you should keep doing this format also I recommend AP sion mid I seen someone 1v9 a plat game with it in my matches

I have this theory, listen to me, Darius support. Aftershock is vital as is Knight's Vow. Play him like a bodyguard and stop anyone getting close to your VIP. If you build him tank he's not worth focusing yet even support Darius will rip people up if you just let him gather stacks. If you're above 30% max health you redirect damage from your VIP to you and then your Q heals you based on missing health allowing you to stay healthy enough in a fight to keep Vow up.

Btw the circle you get arround the enemy when they're isolated is your Q range. Use that to kite people and avoid damage in skirmishes.

Keep up these videos. Can’t speak for everyone, but I enjoy watching the off meta climb. Definitely more than the test server videos. I think a lot of people enjoy watching climbs and the off meta picks helps make it a little more unique than a Grand Master or Challenger player climbing again on the characters we already know they can control a game with.

Kha mid tip- usually it's best to R evolve against melee lanes and W against ranged. Q is best if you're gonna be doing a lot of fighting in the jungle. Would've loved to see some level 6 R evolve gameplay, but great video regardless

Back in season 3 or something I used to buy Hydra on mid, helps you isolate target when fighting on lane

I learned a lot about how isolation works!! I got demolished as Veigar by LB today (and every time I see LB) so uhhhh if that matchup comes up pls record. But for off-meta mid picks I'd love to see some Volibear or Gangplank, those might be viable in some matchups.

I have no idea how viable this would even be, but a lane Hecarim constantly shoving and running bot would be hilarious.

I used to be OTP kha top and sometimes mid. Vs irelia/jax, i would go phase rush for out play potential. If played correctly, match up is easy. For some tough match ups, that you cant win (renekton for example), i would go comet and max and upgrade w first. It is actually crazy good how much dmg you can do with that build

Even while being so fed Irelia and Belveth almost killed you, those are crazy champions :o

From what I remember, there was a patch that made towers remove Q bonus. It was a long time ago too iirc. Edit: found it, the change was made in patch 4.7.

Try Pantheon (Any lane) With Axiom Arc->ludens or hextech-> cosmic drive->deathcap, use PTA or electrocute with prescense of mind and ultimate hunter for runes. Idea is to win lane and then chunk the entire enemy team with ult and w during teamfights

'M5 Alex Ich' 2023 version :D I'm not sure if viego mid/top is considered off-meta, but he has a consistent W/R against some melee champs like Kass, Yasuo, Sylas.
