Ah! I had the same problem as Justine when I was in Europe! I kept forgetting to ask for flat water instead of just water, got sparkling water so many times! But I loved it over there!can't wait to go back!

When I first arrived in Germany I went out to explore Heilbronn. I asked someone "Wo est Horton's, bitte?, seeking directions to Horton's Department Store. She answered, "Links um die ecke und geradehaus." I looked at her puzzled. I had learned to asked directions but still didn't know how to understand them. She finally said, "Left and straight.", and I thanked her--in English.

In Europe usually it is: Blue = non sparkling Red = sparkling

Recommendations for Vienna: Nhm Naturhistorisches Museum Wien is unreal, St. Stephen's Cathedral you can go up in one of the towers and get some stunning footage (I'd go at sunset), Aida Hallo Kitty ice cream at Stephansplatz

Love Lufthansa. Flew them on my birthday last week from Miami to Munich, then to Poland which is where I am now. Since it was my birthday they gave me free champagne, some chocolate & one of those goodie bags. Sucked spending my birthday on a plane but that free champagne made up for it lol
