Most M1161 and M1163 General Dynamics Growlers come equipped with the Basic ExtremeAire 24 Volt air 1 CFM 3/4 HP air compressor, It is loud and kinda slow.
With the i-cube update the compressor gets replaced with a quieter version of the same size unit.
In this video I replace mine with the quieter faster version, The Magnum.
While talking the the engineers or most likely some low level salesman, we were told to mount this on horse stall matting instead of the rubber isolator mounts, and that this will quiet the unit down, well after wasting 2 hours in following his recommendation the unit was very much louder than the original loud unit. So I removed the rubber matt and installed silicone rubber isolators and now it is a mere 50 Db.

I was able to get a expeditionary fuel system which has 2 of those compressors on a aluminum frame. I took one off and replaced my original and I will say it charges up pretty fast. The original was worn out or perhaps the reeds and or check valve weren’t doing as well as they should. They run a copper alloy of sorts for the cylinder sleeve and a Teflon piston seal if I’m not mistaken.

If you want a much higher output unit. There's the Trickflate from TD-Distributing. It's over 10CFM free air, it's a beast of a compressor. I have some vids of it in my Onboard air playlist. Well technically I have the Napa version but they're the same. They put out so much they don't even get warm. Just for comparison it fills a 285/16” or 32” Tire 0-35psi 2:05, Fill 2 Gal tank 0-120psi 50sec 90-120psi 13sec, Fills 4 Gal tank 0-120psi 1:10 & 90-120 in 23sec I looked at the Extreme Air but the output was still too low for me.
