The reservoir in Battambang, Cambodia, officially known as Kamping Pouy Basin, is slightly off the beaten tourist path. First, you have to make the decision to visit Battambang, which many tourists skip over, then you have to make the trip outside the city. It was the perfect Sunday morning for such an adventure! I was glad Reasmey invited me along. We stopped to get Cambodian pancakes on the way, and on the way back we stopped in the Dhamma Latika Vipassana Silent Meditation Retreat to see what it was all about.
