Celebrating your 6 years with us has been so awesome. I found you about a year ago and then I binged watched a majority of those I missed. I knit and crochet - sew some - but picked up my cross stitching after several years away from it -- thanks to you. I now am stitching almost on a daily basis. What beautiful workmanship on the lap frame. Thank you for everything you do !

When the snake was moving against itself, all I could think of was “those are some pretty interesting border patterns!” Cross stitcher to the core! Caroline, you are indeed a woman of many complexities. I spent my summers with my Grandmother at a lake cottage in Minnesota also off the grid. But, then it meant no electricity or indoor plumbing. We had pump outside the kitchen door, an ice box, a propane stove, and kerosene lamps. It was that way until the early 1960's. I loved every minute. It is a bit more modern now. John had done such extraordinary work with the frames! Congratulations once again on all your endeavours! 😊🎉❤

You and John are so very generous, Caroline. The lap frame is a perfect way to stitch in so many different places. The workmanship is of course so professionally done. The first time I found you many years ago was when you were at the cottage and I was so impressed by your fortitude then. It's a lovely setting to get some much needed rest and some peace too. The snake's skin pattern is quite beautiful, I see a cross stitch pattern in there somewhere! Enjoy your time away, both of you.

Hi Caroline. Congratulations again for 6 years of flosstube!! We have a tiny woodland cottage in the north of The Netherlands. It is a joy to spend just about every weekend there. Our nature is not a comparison to the rough beauty of yours in Canada. It is however our happy place. I would never want to leave if we had your cabin. I love the idea of being isolated and off grid. Do you find being there ignites your creativity? John has really made the lapframe beautifully!! I think it is such a special thing that your work life has intertwined as it gas now with him doing Hearthside frames as a business. Happy stitching 🧵 and knitting 🧶

Happy 6th flossiversary! 'Off The Grid' was the first flosstube l watched & it remains my favourite. Adding Hearthside frames to Evertote was a brilliant idea. RFC in the basement & MFE patterns in the shop...magic. I wish l could visit the workshop on an open day, but l live in Sydney - Australia, not Cape Breton! Enjoy the cabin.
