I laughed when you said you would rather have your stuff with you when you travel. I do the exact same thing!! 😂 always best to have options because you never know what you will feel like stitching on! Have a great vacation!!

Hi Caroline! I so understand about taking too much stitching. I do the same thing. I like my stuff around me too. It makes me feel at home and, as the British say: homely. Thank you for your sharing. I love your videos.

Beautiful holly bushes. I appreciate the adjusted placement of the camera and your your beautiful face. No nightmares tonight. Lol it’s really not that bad. Just the one night. Frogs happen. Some days more than other. It reminds me of a night my son was a six and we were traveling home from grandma’s. I pulled onto the still wet interstate after a rainy day. To my son’s delight and my horror thousands of little frogs had taken over the road. He begged to stop and take some home. So I explained the dander in doing so and promised we would frog hunt the next night. That settled that issue. It did not style my issue of having to drive through the frogs. 🥺 In planning your trip, I completely understand your conundrum in what projects to take. I’m right there with you. I keep adding these new charts I want and I trying to pack for Jamaica through August. For me that means needlework, writing, books, and reading. That doesn’t include household items clothes and swimwear. It’s a job. I think I’m going to have to get this chat too. I do love it. With the SS of course. Have a wonderful time on your trip with your daughter. Relax and enjoy. !!!✈️

Dear Caroline, I can so imagine you want to take more projects with you! And you mention In Friendship. You’re stitching It in blue, mine is purple. Also on 28 count. Hope you will show It again, before finishing It. Have a great trip!

Interesting that in the Rules of Life piece, the "s" in Alms is already the modern typeface. I'm sure I'm not the first to see it though. I do love the old fashioned fonts, they make each piece more special. Have a great vacation, and enjoy your time with Sarah!

Oh I feel your pain as I had to frog a section I was working on and keep thinking it wasn’t a problem and kept going but then had to admit it was not looking right. Liked the tip about using tape to get the floss off the fabric. I too bring more projects then I can possibly do when on holidays. Have a great holiday with your daughter.

You had two coffees and left them both upstairs - that is exactly something I would do. I love your found needle minder! Funny story to tell - I teach at a cyber school so that brings its own different challenges. When I start class I always say 'good morning, hello math friends' and I never realized why I said that until I read your needleminder. So thanks for the inspiration for my class intro. Keep smiling!

Great video! I hope you have a great vacation. I am also trying to decide how many projects to put in a suitcase. I am a volunteer Medical First Reslonder and will be providing first aid coverage for 5 days at the Special Olympics in Calgary, AB this week. I should have lots of stitching time in the first aid room (12 hr days) and at night at the hotel. Some Prairie Schooler ornaments are coming for sure. They are small, taking up little working space and easy to drop and run. I am debating on wether to take my large piece, Prairie Schooler Alphabet or maybe a new start for stitching in my hotel room. Sadly, I won't be able to visit any of the LNSs while there. Happy stitching, with no more frog visits!

Omg Caroline! I did the same thing! The only problem was the error for me was on the left side and i kept ripping out the right side. I was one stitch out on the left side and you could not see it right off. It took me ripping out the right side twice to realize the error was on the left!! I thought i was going to go mad!! Oh well, loved the pattern. Enjoy your holiday with your daughter!!

I feel the same way as you do about packing extra projects to take with you as I do the same thing. I always think that I may get more stitching done than I actually do and then worry if I'm going to have enough things to work on, so I pack extra. I hope you have a fabulous time on your trip and a great visit with your daughter.

Easiest way to rip out: Buy a small medical stitch remover, snip the top stitch, using a tweezer pull out from top or bottom. Clean, easy and not frustrating! Just my opinion! Try it!

Ah sweet Matt. Enjoy that caffeine Caroline. I know I would. That Luna needle minder is too precious. I'm so glad you found it. I wish you had some Hello Crafty Friends needle minders, stickers or corner gauges on the shop site.
