Very nice, I never had that one, I the M16 has a 20 round mag in it. Yes, that is a 40MM grenade launcher M-79. as you just read from the book :)

Great review, looking forward to asking you a ton of questions on Sunday. Little unknown fact, in the John Wayne movie the Green Beret he uses a Marx Toy plastic M16 Gun that he breaks apart. LOL

Very good video review. The M79 featured in T2: Judgment Day and Arnold used it to make the liquid metal Terminator spread out like a tree.

Like to get hold of this figure. Still want to get hold of the one I had 1973 green beret with cloth beret. Can't wait till next month see what else I can pick up, got the Cadet Officer boxed this month. Art Science Hasbro. Really pleased with it although watched a few reviews of it saying it's incomplete. Mine comes with belt holster pistol badge on beret pitty didn't come with rifle. Still in it's box. Not taken it out and still fastened to the card. I bought a small bag of weapons in silver for modern day action man not sure what uniforms these accessories go with as I've only started collecting them

@@ACTIONFAN-ky1ty kept my original action man 1973 right up to the early 2000s. Kick myself now. Gave him away with uniforms Tank cannon and boat, no matter how many action man figures you get they can't replace the ones you had as a kid growing up. Wish still had him. He'd be in the cabinet now

@@ACTIONFAN-ky1ty pity no one could buy the the rights to pallitoy and bring the company back. And create 12" and 6" Action figures back? As well as employ designers to create a new range of action figures and accessories. And design be creative. Like what will the uniforms and weapons be like 50 or 100 years from now? Take the spinning top for instance. Using this toy as an example Why not a UFO when pressed down it would spin round or rotate at the centre idea for a 6" figure probably turn it into a villain or even create a Robot figure to go with it like from the film Time stood still. Action man could definitely be brought back to a new level of interesting figures even those of the 70s could be brought back. Toys built to last none of this cheap brittle plastic. Action figures with proper uniform not painted on like Lego figures I call them. There still is a future for this toy. Why not a RC control steam engine? Tank? Jeep and boat? To bring it up to the 21st century? As I say this toy still has a future.

Turn the body at the waist a couple of times and that will tighten the elastic if you don't want to restring the figure

It' will be fine, just twist the waist 1 turn at a time till you feel the figure tighten

I knew it was a grenade launcher but I didn't realise it was US and from the Vietnam period. I therefore have equipped the Desert Fighter (to me the worst figure as he only has a pair of shorts and a bush hat) with it. What weapon should he be carrying?
