These off the rails videos are very quickly becoming our family's favorites that you guys do. It's so fun just watching you just hang out and chat. I especially appreciate how respectful you are of each other. Even when you disagree, you do so without ridicule and snark which is refreshing to see. I hope you keep doing more of these. The projector shows and the fireworks at the castle. Fantasmic, Nemo the Musical, Festival of the Lion King. The entertainment aspect fo the parks is all but gone. I miss it so much!

Ryno and Deni hit it right on the head-I already was a very anxious and OCD person-have been since I was a kid. And this whole shift has just made me more anxious, more frustrated, more concerned. This was a conversation we needed to hear and we need to have.

I feel there is just as much spontaneity. We've always planned which days for each Park but with fast passes, so now without FP we just walk and go on whatever has a reasonable line. It's just as carefree for us and so far in 3 trips in the last year, dining is way easier. We don't have a big issue with the masks, would rather not have to wear but it's no biggie

That feeling is back now without Fastpasses. Some restaurants still need reservations but many table service have short walk up lists.

Oh Craig... we are missing POFQ so much. We've loved the skyliner at CBR but can not wait to get back to POFQ, our home away at home :) The CMs, the grounds, just the peacefulness and cozy feel. Love hearing the live music too and taking the painting class. I play Pokemon Go and I have a gift from a POFQ stop and can't bring myself to send it to anyone.

Port Orleans was our first on property stay in 1992! At the time Riverside( then Dixie Landings Resort) wasn't built yet.

Jackie and Ryno are so right!!! I just returned from my week in the magic. I don’t have the high I usually do. Even though we rode everything we wanted the magic just wasn’t there. It made my child’s anxiety so much worse, which triggered mine. The park I felt this the most was MK. I won’t be going back until masks at a minimum are gone. I appreciated the low crowds even on Easter Day, this comes from someone who usually goes spring break and early June...I know a packed park it wasn’t packed! But the whole time I was in MK all I thought about was how different it was and how much I wanted to go back to the room.

Craig you are so right about people talking in the theater - drives us crazy!! Why did they spend the money? Also the people who have an entire theater to choose from and sit right next to you!!!

I can top that: two buttheads who kept texting through the entire movie. They even held up their freaking phones so the bright screens ruined my night vision. I couldn't believe nobody told them to turn their phones off. Theaters should install cell phone blockers so they can't text or make calls in the theater. That way, they'll be forced to do it at the concession stand or lobby. That's why I'm so reluctant to go to movie theaters. Been to only one or two in the last five years.

Boardwalk was an absolute ghost town snooze fest last month when we went. Trattoria Alforno was excellent, Beaches & Cream was awesome, but everything else was a little lack-luster.

Off the rails is my new fav Dis show! You guys seriously crack me up which is exactly what we need right now. My silly movie moment.... went to see Iron Man with my daughter. Didn't know anything about Marvel storyline. 15 minutes in I lean over and ask where's Hugh Jackman???? She says indignantly thats Wolverine!!!! We still laugh about this.... And future off the rails topic....MERCH...the good, the bad, the annoying and the obsessive (collections!!). I could go totally off the rails on this topic....

Totally agree about Port Orleans, if French quarter opened within the next two months, I would move my entire Orlando vacation there immediately and probably book an extra one there because I miss it!!

Although I'm thankful WDW was able to reopen, I couldn't agree more with the feeling that everything is tinged with just a bit of sorrow. I really miss going to Typhoon Lagoon. I love just sitting at the edge of the wave pool with a drink in hand while I people watch. Idea for an episode of Off the Rails: Things that have changed on property during the pandemic that you hope stay and those you can't wait to get rid of. Thanks to all of you for making me laugh.

These shows r the best. Seriously laughed out loud at craigs grandparents story. My daughter worked at young Harris college where trouble w the curve filmed a lot. Clint was awesome stayed in his trailer but did eat out and was friendly. Justin worked out in the student rec ctr. It’s a good movie didn’t get enough love.

Ahhhh, Deni is really making me miss Jolly Holiday. One of my fav Disneyland activities is having the grilled cheese and tomato soup there! Cannot wait to visit again. And Craig's rant about the movie seating is spot on...it's SO true that I can be in an empty theater and someone decides to sit RIGHT by me. Whyyyyyy? Great job on the show, as always! Loving Off the Rails!!

Jackie articulated my current reason that I don't want to go to DIsney anytime soon. I wouldn't want to spend the money just to feel something negative. My reasons are not the same as Jackie's but the feeling part is the same.

The Pride of America (NCL)- based in honolulu- used to offer a tour of the ship and a lunch on board for about $30 a person. We never did it- but I don’t know why the Disney cruise line can’t do something like that.

The Spectromagic parade. I was sad when that parade was eliminated. I also miss the care free feeling I used to have, when I looked forward to coming to Disney.

In a way I understand the urge to go to the theater, but I still prefer my home theater😬🤷🏼♀️ I always go when the theater isn’t super clean & stuffy, the sound is too loud and you obviously can’t adjust it, and there’s always a chatty couple or a crying baby. I don’t miss the noises and the smells. I can adjust the volume and pause it whenever I want...& now we can even get the new releases when they’re released in the theaters. I’m all for getting things open and back to normal but...pre pandemic and post pandemic...I’m sticking with my home theater 😉

I’ve always loved New Orleans Square and was pretty impressed with the architecture when I first saw it completed. As a kid my mom always got the mint julep and a fritter which to me was nothing like what they have now. A 4” diameter fried ball of yeast dough that was kind of hallow then rolled in regular sugar. I found a recipe on the internet but they call it something else. It’s the original.

I’m sure someone has mentioned this: the reason they can’t have the ships be a hotel, or have sailings that don’t go to a port is most of the ships are flagged as non us ships. They get away from certain US labor laws. And if they don’t stop at a foreign port they have to follow all the US laws and regulations. One of which is the ship needs to be built in the US.

With Disneyland reopening and the prices being revealed, I miss my AP. Even if I could go (not a Californian) I cannot afford to go as often as I used to and have to be particular about when I go.

Craig....Theatre seating assignment...Yes, this happens to me more than it should. Like what is the deal you had the whole theatre to chose from, why why did you pick the seat next to me. I am guessing they are just scared of the dark and need to be near another person for comfort.

I would suggest you get a drinking Helmet, that way you won't spill any drinks. As for Cruising....you do not have to stop at any foreign port. You can cruise up and down the East or West coast.....they do have paddle wheel cruises down the Missippi River (i believe they are not running at the moment)

Those riverboat cruises are American registered and operated. Therefore the Jones act doesn’t apply to them. And if on a foreign registered vessel you do have to stop at a foreign port. That’s the crux of the Jones act. They didn’t start enforcing cruise to nowhere’s until 2016

I just want to be able to go🥲 I grew up going and lived in Orlando for a while. I live in Texas now and my husband doesn’t allow a trip every year. It’s hard to being married to someone who doesn’t get it. But I am planning a 2022 trip

How about an off the rails about all the merchandise that Disney keeps pushing out. I mean how many different pairs of ears does one need. I wish that they would keep the new must have items to releases maybe one time a month or maybe even less than that.

It’s the Jones Act that is keeping us off cruise ships and why they don’t change it is baffling. I don’t cruise Disney but Princess and normally do Europe or West Coast because I am also not a big fan of the Caribbean. After 4 canceled cruises I don’t care where it goes I just need to be back on a cruise that I would do it to anywhere or nowhere. Also agree I need it all I do Disney and love it but that is a different type of vacation than a cruise.

The cruise to nowhere is actually odd as they’ve technically always been illegal. But wasn’t until 2016 they actually banned them. Some China owned gambling cruise out of Miami I believe caused the added attention and caused government to get involved. Jones act is there (since 1920) to protect American commercial shipping jobs. As an ex sailor I get it’s existence, but it definitely needs to be revised. As it’s been over 100 years

Two suggestions: 1. Never talk about movies again. That segment's flow was 10 minutes of pure awkwardness. 2. I believe this has been partially covered in other shows (or maybe completely), but how about a discussion on rides / shows / attractions that no longer exist. Horizons, Maelstrom, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Main Street Electrical Parade... Lots of nostalgia with those!
