As much as a comedic mastermind Dr. Mike is...his resources for hypertrophy are insane. He has two-three playlists I always watch "Muscle Gain Dieting Made Simple" any of the "Muscle Growth Specialization Programs" I definitely recommend the first one for people working out for 1.5 years up to 6.

I’ve been watching the Renaissance Periodization youtube channel for a couple years at this point, and I’m so glad to see their channel growing and getting more views lately. Dr Mike provides such high quality info on fitness/bodybuilding but also funny as hell and deserves the recognition. He has some of the best out-of-pocket humor in the fitness KZfaq space haha

As someone who is half black with most of my black ancestry coming from Western Africa, I think that's true for me, too... because according to my genetics on genome, I have poor endurance lol. As a kid, our dad used to make us run 4 miles often and I hated it. Eventually, our body got used to it but I was never a fan of running. One time he had us run 8 randomly and it felt like I just about died when I got home

I used to think I had bad genetics but then I did my first bodybuilding competition after I gave birth. I was 10 months postpartum when I went on stage. I didn't win but I was at about 13% body fat

There is a lot of new research coming out on minimum effective training. It's actually VERY low. Like 30 mins 2-3 times a week low, or even lower. So I'd probably say, just do it, even if it's very little, you'll be surprised.

They are really some great guest's. Every time I've trained... and yes, I was thin, and I was in shape at one time in my life. It took a couple of months, and I always saw great results starting, here I thought I had bad genetics. Those Italian short and fat genes, but I guess not, lol.
