I see TJ and how the crew treats him very very refreshing. People are afraid to make fun of disabled people because of the hyper sensitive culture (Or at least hyper sensitive popular media culture) but this shows how being in an environment where you can laugh at everything can help someone like TJ deal with what he dealt with. It's amazing to me that the guy who experienced breaking his neck and slit his throat came out better than he was before the accident. Gaining perspective, metal strength, and drive. This man is incredible.

I knew of him before the accident we went to the same high school, he was such a nice guy, and still seems the same now. It’s amazing to see how he’s kept his smile and positive attitude throughout all he’s been through.

the part where TJ talk about not seeing his dad anymore because the argument hits too close to home. the fact that your own dad is saying that is your fault at the lowest part of your life... is just wrong in so many levels. but thats how most mainland asian men are.. no sympathy. instead of appreciating the fact that your kin is alive.... you blame them for being like this.. makes no sense. im really glad TJ is in a mentally safe place with all the negative things he had to go through.

I believe in yesterdays video he said he didn't start regaining some feeling till 4 months after the accident. How long total, I'm not sure they said though.
