On the Giants game with Devito and Crosby, Devito pins his elbow into his neck as he gets up for just long enough to get his attention and it was also right after the play where Jones initially got hurt and Crosby was on the sack on that play as well.

Taunting and that intentional grounding call drove me nuts. There's a point where the Bills are not doing enough on offense but honestly, those two calls might have swung 10 points, minus the 1 point for a two point conversion they wouldn't go for... And they lost by six.

@@jameswillis4069we sucked but the taunt was not the right call. If anything it made up for the questionable call where we could’ve lost to the giants, so now we’re even

@@Endzoneproductions17 On further reflection, I'll go with the grounding as legit, though I think the rule is written stupidly, but pointing is taunting? That's ridiculous. (Then again with grounding there still is the fact that Allen wasn't pressured. Collinsworth really laid into McAuley on that point.)

@@cypher515yeah I mean even with the grounding it still seems like Allen may have thought that they were gonna run the route deep (I think he said this in an interview, but who knows he could have been lying), but the taunt was the worst call. There were lots of dumb calls that game that honestly could’ve flipped the scrip, but bengals are just a good team. I feel like all people talk about are Allen’s interceptions, when he’s a better quarterback than people realize, and he has potential to become himself again, but we still are in a skid rn

The officiating in the NFL (No Fun League or National Flag League) is absolutely atrocious and some would say purposely so.

The pointing by Allen was a bit chickenshit to be taunting, but I love the penalty in general because the game is ruined by low class, bush-league behavior. As Coach Noll used to say to the Steelers in the 70s when they scored a touchdown, "act like you've been there before." Sportsmanship is part of the value conferred by competition--if you can't win right or lose right then you were considered weak--also it is selfish as it brings attention to you when your teammates made your TD possible. Taunting is juvenile, selfish and weak. Those types of players need to grow the F up.

It's natural in heated competition, but these young guys have such fragile egos that they have to respond to every single solitary word said against them. And... they have to make sure that everybody knows how wonderful they are when they make a routine play such as a tackle they should make--oh! look at me! I did my job so now I can dance and pound my chest and nod my head--it was me me me me me! Oh, right the other 10 guys played a role, but it was really me me me me! This ubiquitous behavior in almost every sport now then results in the need for a retaliation taunt/celebration--6 year olds--grow the f up--you didn't do anything by yourself.
