The reason why this is easily the best reaction channel for beatboxing is because not only are your analyses already insightful and well expressed from a non-beatboxing standpoint, which in itself is already impressive, but that you also let the entirety of a round finish first before pausing, which I personally prefer than those who pause in the middle and destroy the flow or sometimes even miss a good part.

Non beatboxers usually prefer songs they know and fast beats, where as Codfish's throat bass is very smooth and powerful and his musicality is second to non, he is more like a complete song in his performances. Love your guys reactions though! Keep up with good work lads :D

In my opinion Codfish is one of the best melody beatboxers, but also one of the best in trap and bass, for example halftime movement one of my favorite routines

"Esh" in the beatbox community comes from the French phrase "wesh, ma gueule?" Which is translated into English as " yo, what's up?" But has been simplified from "wesh" to "Esh".

Highly recommend NaPoM‘s Road to GBB 2017, he was one of the judges in 2018 and he won gbb in 2017. it‘s a great compilation and he has some crazy good bass

Esh is an joke expression popularized by Faya Braz and Swish Beatbox. In native French, the expression "wesh, ma gueule?" is the English equivalent of "yo, what up?" Wesh meaning yo, the phrase was simplified to just "esh." Esh is also a common beatbox sound, a vocal snare when said quickly

Esh started being used after Faya Braz kind of popularized it. He's from France, and in French you say "Wesh" which pretty much means "Yo". This turned into "Esh" in the beatbox community, partly because if you say Esh quickly and powerfully, it's a snare that is sometimes used in beatboxing. That's the roots of the word, although the specific meaning is a bit hard to define. Scott Jackson (the guy who says "time" in the battles) uses it to hype up the crowd, and that's a perfect example of when to use it. It's a phrase you use whenever you feel like it, basically. You just say it :)

For those wonder how *_Codfish won_* He won because *_he has incredible controll of his voice and throat bass._* which at the time that type of Throat Bass control was extremely hard to learn and control! So *_Codfish_* ended up winning the entire GBB. Crazy skills for sure

ESH stands for Wesh and that's an Algerian word which means "what's up". It got popular in France in the last 15 years due to the amount of Arabs living there . One beatboxer (called Fayabraz), invented the word Esh and then it has gotten popular in the Beatbox community.
