Yeahh generally how it is with instruments. The more expensive ones are typically handmade or made with more rare materials which also make them more expensive to repair

I opened a brand new coffee pot this morning literally out of the box. The whole thing fell and shattered the pot before i could use once. I sat there speechless for a minute then just gave up and went back to bed

Forgive me, just a few videos before this one, I watched postal employees tossing boxes/parcels into their vans, packages be damned, where you could hear contents jarring and slung inside. But 2 wrongs never make a right.

I had an old one that I filled with about three-four cups worth of coffee. And as I pick it up the handle breaks off and it shatters, coffee all over the floor that splashed up on me. I was so damn close ot just throw myself out the window lol

I totally agree with Dave, when i go walking with my dog, I do take my phone for the health app, but yeah, if you go fishing, camping, hiking, whatever, strict tabs and computers stay at home, only a PLB and an emergency phone, no cellphones on the whole time, cellphone is on, goes to my rucksack, done.

Daz's reaction to the paraglider trying to use that selfie-stick was exactly my reaction too (palms sweating, I paused the video for a second, "There is NO way he doesn't lose that phone...") Plus, with the price of those phones these days, AND how much I use it to do EVERYTHING... contact info, probably the directions back to my hotel, which bus to take to get back, or calling a cab, just totally lost until it is replaced... palms sweaty again just remembering it.

@@officeblokedaz - OK we'll wait until it gets warmer, but it is definitely something you should try. Would love to see one of you (each of you) haul in a fish. A good Captain who knows the right spot and which kind of bait/tackle to use... "Office Blokes, who can catch the biggest one?!" Mackerel, pollack, and cod are near you and can be caught year-round (so it doesn't need to be winter), and taste great too. Bring home fish you've caught yourself (on the grill?)and some beer, talking about the day... great way to spend a summer day.

Some fail videos are hit & miss, but THIS one was ALL quality videos (really put together well!). Those white drones (the one that hit the green street sign in the snow)(the ones I'm familiar with) are quite expensive (very stable platform, very strong and agile propellers, quality remote viewing screen, a high quality camera that you can remotely change the angle/direction)... £1,900.25 and up, not including the case and spare batteries... The really good ones can be even x2 that price. [ That was _painful_ to watch... funny , but painful ]

That is the way I was taught it too. Joseph (adoptive father) and Jesus (tektōn = "carpenter / craftsman / a learned man") Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989): Harrison Ford, "No, he wouldn't have such an ornate cup. Jesus was a carpenter..." (chooses simple clay cup that proves to be the true Grail) Can't argue with Indy Jones (facts!)

I’m assuming it was the parent that was filming on the boat? That’s what he gets for 1. Giving an irresponsible kid an iPad who has no concept of value yet, and 2. Letting him bring it when they are supposed to be enjoying nature, and getting away from the computers! Maybe that kid dropping it into the water is a blessing in disguise’s. Now he will have no choice but to focus on what’s around him and learn social skills and learn an outdoor skill. You know, like a normal kid. And a normal child hood. And normal life skills. And having a normal relationship between himself and his parent because now they can bond together out on that boat. And maybe now that parent will realize it wasn’t a good idea to give their kid an iPad in the first place. Whether the kid was borrowing it or it was bought for him.

It bothers me so much (makes me sad) to hear that Mike and Daz are so down on fishing. Daz maybe likes things more dramatic/high-octane. But Mike definitely seems like the type to enjoy fishing. I LOVE fishing (especially alone on a quiet river or lake), so relaxing. Every chance I can. I'm American and even I have got into watching the BBC show: (Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing) It gives me a chance to see the beautiful rural scenery of the UK that we don't usually get to see in TV programs (programmes). How does pulling 3 muscle 1 in each arm then my shoulder area then my dog peed a lake from the front door to my backdoor and i knocked over 3 of my dads 1 gallon jugs and they all broke and leaked a huge lake and i got mad and punch a hole in my dads living room wall and 2 weeks ago i sprained my ankle badly the i fell on it a few days ago and it hurts more and my dogs on her death bed with a heart murmur and i got to work tomorrow and these are the days i wonder why i was put on this earth
