The last time I had a problem with customer service with no resolution forthcoming, I called the main corporate office 4 states away and talked to a nice fellow who was genuinely helpful, so much so that he called me back within 30 minutes and asked me to return to shop where the problem was at before, and behold a resolution in 5 minutes time. The lady that was rude before would not say a word to me, understandable for someone who got her ear chewed on by corporate. Always go above, way above the head, of whom you have issue with.

To park in a handicap parking space you either have to have a license plate that shows a handicap logo or a tag hanging over your rear view mirror with the blue handicap logo on it.

I got the worst of both ends. We have a HoA, and the board is quite literally 9 blonde 38 - 66 year old Karens, and one drives by every day just to see if someone's trash bin was left out for more than 3 seconds after it was collected. If so, that is 125 dollars.

The tree thing was definitely a property dispute. The fence was put up and the trees were the counter.

The lady on the plane this week just said the guy wasn't real and that people were going to die if they stood on the plane with him. She accused him of stealing one of her airpods. She was drunk. The internet ran with it and a few people uploaded fake tiktoks saying they were on the plane and one guy said the guy's eyes blinked sideways and next thing you know people are saying he's a lizard man.

some of these karen videos are starting to get frustrating because you can tell in a couple of them that the camera guy deliberately cut out important context that would show they aren't the victim they are making themselves out to be. like these kinds of videos started out as legitimate a few years back but now it feels like people are deliberately trying to get a rise out of others so they can film their breakdown after.

In the U.S. if you're handicapped in anyway the Department of Motor vehicles will issue you a handicapped placard that hangs from the rearview mirror. If the vehicle doesn't have the placard displayed, you are not allowed to park in a handicapped spot. The fine can be up to 1pound 50 × 250. $500 bucks. When see someone do it, I just give them the evil eye.

In America people have to have something on their car to indicate they are handicapped. Either a handicapped license plate (handicapped logo on plate)or a temporary indicator that usually hangs from the mirror and should be visible from outside the car.

In the US each state has their own rules when it comes to handicap placard, few states will issue you one for "metal" disability something like autism, and even then you usually have to have a doctor sign off that your "mental" disability impairs your mobility. You can also spot if someone has the rights to park there because you are given a handicap placard, that will hang on your minor or be on the vehicle someone such as on the license plate.

This is just a theory, but the lady with the prepaid card may have used a credit card to fill it up, and now she wants the money back in cash. For cash advances on cards, there is usually a large charge, so she probably wanted to do this to work around that and get cash back with little interest.

I don't know if this is true for airlines in other countries. But in the US flight attendants are NOT paid for the time in between flights. They are paid when the doors to the aircraft close and reopen, that's it. So the guy aggressively asking for water before the door is closed (even if he asked nicely at first), then impeding traffic and the flight attendants who are trying to get the plane ready for push back and recording them, rather than sit the f**k back down is just being an a**. The only exception I think is first class and business class passengers, but they typically already have bottled water in the seat area. I bet if he had asked nicely and waiting for the plane to takeoff a flight attendant would have been more than happy to bring him water before beverage service.

Hey OB's, just fyi, in the US and I would assume in Canada as well, you vehicle must have a handicap license plate, or tag on the rear view mirror in order for you to be allowed to park in a handicap space. So just wanted to point out that those spaces are actually reserved for legally handicapped people. The tags are issued by the state with the proper forms submitted with a doctors signature and reason for the tag. So those folks that park there illegally are really just pretty disrestpecful. Not to mention violating the law.

That handicapped parking used to really annoy my father. He would always say to the driver, 'I think you misunderstand. That means physical, not mental.' Likewise, my mom told me when she turned 65, she could legally become a curmudgeon. Whenever she saw something like the modern Karen/Ken phenom, she would just shake her head, and say sadly to whomever 'Looks like time to thin the herd.' When did people become so idiotic and thin skinned about nothing???

With handicapped or disabled parking spaces you never know who is going to come along and why they need a disabled spot. Yes there are the obvious, wheelchairs, elderly, etc, but there are other valid reasons, usually emergency situations or accidents, times when the person just needs to get in quickly for health reasons. A lot of people do abuse it though, like using them for mental health or in situations when they don’t actually need to use it. Like if you have the disabled badge to use when you are having a flare up or accident but you just use it every time you park. Like a lot of things now, if people actually thought of others and only did things when they had to then it would all be much better.

I'll say this, I may have been a Karen once. I had a chain link fence installed, we had the surveyor come out and it was built with a couple inches of my property on the other side of the fence. I don't know about the UK but here in the US, if you are disabled, you have to prove it to the DMV. You need a dr to fill out a form, then bring it to the DMV, so you can get a handicap placard or license plate. If you park in a handicap spot, without either one of those, you can be fined.

Mmm very true it’s difficult to tell if someone is handicapped, till this day I have not once parked in the handicapped spot even though I am, because I am young and physically nothing looks wrong, I always tell myself that some who has an actual severe disability is in need of it more than I. Ps. My disability I consider minor, it’s not as bad as othersI’ve seen, only because I knew sense I was born so took extra care of my back ;) I have scoliosis which is usually not visible from a strangers point of view, I am in physical pain all the time and have a messed up knee and ankle, I refuse to limp to ease the pain because then I could be seen as an easy target.
