That Snapple fact is actually true. Flamingoes metabolize the pigments of their food which is why they turn pink when they eat brine shrimp

The flamingos in certain zoos are given food pellets with specialized ingredients so they maintain the bright pink shade. In fact, many wild flamingo species are light pink to red since the coloring comes from beta-carotene.

Snoop isn't a huge fan of going to the UK because I of the strict Cannabis laws. In a interview from years ago, he talked about how he tries to not go to some countries now due to those laws.

The "mongooses" are giant river otters attacking a caiman. The "squirrel eater" is a pine marten and the pink birds are spoonbills.

Nah, they're neither giant river otters nor is the crocodilian a caiman. That was a crocodile and the otters were another species of otter (I'm not entirely sure which species, but I think Asian small-clawed otters)

Flamingos do turn pink because of the small shrimp and other crud they eat. These were *spoonbills,* who get pink for the same reason.

Our alligators 🐊 in Jamaica 🇯🇲 are endangered so if you see a bunch of them crossing the street you can’t do anything. Most times they are harmless unless provoked.

I was in Florida a month ago and we were driving down a smaller highway and saw like a 5-6ft. alligator just chillin in shallow water that was in the ditch. Shit was wild. Can you imagine getting a flat and thinking that was going to be the worst thing that happened to you that day lol

They are everywhere in FL. It's crazy how there are practically no gator attacks despite me seeing probably 50 of them in the one year that I lived there.

There was an enormous crocodile swimming on the surface that was captured by a drone in Australia going into a reservoir that was described by the Aussie Tourist Board as being a wonderful place for "water sports, paddle boarding, swimming etc." After a few seconds on the surface the croc completely disappeared underwater so that you would never know it was even there. Never ever go swimming in Australia.

Yes that was something from the weasel family. A marten or a fisher I guess, but I think it might've been too small to be a fisher. Flamingos aren't naturally pink, they're gray or white. The bird in the video was a spoonbill.

Roseate Spoonbill is a member of the ibia and stork family. There are several species of spoonbill. The roseate spoonbill is found in the southern U.S., their range, along with other ibis, herons, covers the Caribbean, Central, and parts of South America.

I was born and raised in Florida. We had a pretty big pond in our back yard and a 6ft gator lived in it. He was always in the back acreage of our land. See him all the time sun bathing.

Fun fact flamingos are pink because they eat a lot of crustacean mainly shrimp and they are more on the east side you'll see a lot of them in Florida

Also, the animals he called mongooses are river otters, they can grow up to 6 feet long and are known to kill and eat crocodilians in there territory. Those were actually Amazon Otters. They grow about 4ft tall and are capable of backing off alligators.

9:10 Dave/Mike, the scariest thing isn't the lumbering 14' reptile, the scariest thing is they can outrun dogs and regularly eat people's canines cause they're SO DAMNED FAST on land! 20MPH (33KPH) sustained with bursts of 30 MPH (50KPH)! Usain Bolt can only run 27MPH and would be on the menu of this overgrown lizard. 9:40 But Daz, Cheetahs are giant pussies. If you're taller than the cheetah, they don't want nothing to do with you. There's videos of people yelling at groups of cheetahs and they all tuck their tails and start running away.

You can scare away a pride of lions if you yell at them. They aren't scared of you because you are yelling. They are scared because humans often have guns or spears. Cheetahs also rely on their speed for survival. The slightest injury means they can't catch their next meal and they can't run away from the many lions in their territory that will gladly kill them.

@@StfuFFS I 100% know for a fact that most lions run away at the first sight of humans on foot. African wildlife is something I have extensive knowledge of. I have also personally seen a cheetah maul a human. Their dew claw is extremely sharp and can mess a person up. The same goes for their teeth. The mauling only lasted a few seconds before the cheetah retreated, but that guy needed quite a few stitches.

Florida alligators are pretty chill and don't attack people. If you leave them alone they will leave you alone. You're too big for them to want to eat you or attack you. The thing you have to be careful of is your pets. Gators may go after your small pets if they can get to them.

I grew up in Florida. We used to swim every day in black creek which was filled with alligators! One of my neighbors used to catch them and rope them to a wheelbarrow and walk them through the neighborhood

I thought flamingo milk was pink so it changes the white baby to a really pink hue. Maybe their milk is pink because of prawns. That makes sense.

8:00. Wrong. It's because of the algae that both the shrimp and flamingos eat that makes flamingo's pink. Shrimp turn pink when we cook them, but that's coincidental. Flamingo's metabolize the pigments into their feathers turning them pink.

Grown man can fight off a cheetah no problem. In africa, the natives used to chase down a cheetah, and scared away after it successfully got a kill. The natives weren't fast enough to chase down a gazelle, but the cheetah sure did, and then a grown man can fight a cheetah off. And that's where we get the term cheetah chaser
