I worked at OTC as a contractor. Some of the instructors were woke as shit. My favorite incident was two DI’s dressing down a candidate - “YOU SUCK AT LIFE! YOU ARE A DUMPSTER BABY!” The other DI was trying to suppress laughter & quietly said to him “You can’t call them dumpster babies anymore. “
@chapel33397 ай бұрын
Do you think the Instructor was woke for saying that or the guidelines they follow are woke?

Officers should BE "prior enlisted", BEFORE they're given greater responsibility for people's LIVES. At the end of the day, the only reason someone is selected for officer training, is because they have education. That is NOT enough to be able to lead other people in a time of WAR. And THAT'S what your training for! I saw plenty of college students in ROTC who were NOT "cut-out" to lead other soldiers; and apparently, nobody CARES, as long as "your numbers look good"; and absolutely, under NO circumstances will the upper leadership either tolerate, or defend the truth. The ideal SOUNDS good, but it's all BS; and ALL the senior leadership KNOWS it; and WON'T...say...a word!
