I'm sure the Chief of Police didn't want them in her ranks, but it wasn't up to her to fire them as an "internal investigation" cleared them from wrongdoing. It was the best she could do.

As for me I am tired of people saying what you're saying as if it's true, as if people resisting arrest is the sole reason people die at the hands of police. The facts do not support your assertion. People who offer no resistance whatsoever die at the hands of police all the time. Lots of folks don't even get a chance to comply or die, which you're basically stating is the only reason these things . I'm reminded of a case in South Carolina where a cop shot and killed a teenager who simply opened up front door when the officer knocked on it. The Wii remote in his hand appeared to be a firearm according to the genius murdered this young man. No warning no chance to resist, just shot and killed because an idiot with a badge and a gun feared for the their life because a kid answered the door while playing video games.

Man (Elijah) was eWorld for being “suspicious” (wore mask to to illness), cops came and said they’re arresting him, he replied he didn’t do anything, they threw him to the ground and chocked him unconscious. The story adds up perfectly, we’ve been seeing the same thing play out for months.

The photos are stunningly callous. Completely unacceptable The fact that they took the photo with a chokehold, at the site of Elijah's killing, makes it hard to deny that it's a trophy photo and makes it look more than ever as though his killing were deliberate. Historically these photos were taken after lynchings. The people who did the lynchings would photograph themselves next to their "prey" as the murdered victim lay dismembered or hung from a tree. Sometimes the photos were sold as souvenirs. It is a horrifically shameful period in our history and I thought it was behind us. I never thought I would see anything like this in my lifetime. Justice for Elijah.

They do this all the time. When I totaled my car because I had a seizure at age 19 that caused me to hit a telephone pole at a very low speed, I was completely inconsolable because my car insurance didn't cover collision damage. Someone called the police and they were completely out of control when they arrived. I had called my mom before the cops got there, she lived about five minutes away. The cops were questioning me about how and why the accident happened and became belligerent when I couldn't give them a clear answer due to crying heavily and having a panic attack because of the police escalating the situation. I was sitting in a plastic lawn chair that someone who lived nearby had brought out for me to sit in. My mom got there and she tried to walk over to my side to comfort me. The cops grabbed her, pushed her against one of their cars and put handcuffs on her! I still don't know why, or why the cops continued to escalate the situation when there was no reason too. The paramedics were there soon after, and the cops had already decided they needed to hold me down in the chair by pinning my arms down. I remember a paramedic walking over to me with a needle in his hand. I'm so glad I saw it in time. I freaked out and screamed that they absolutely could not inject me with anything and they didn't have my consent to inject or medicate me with anything. This spooked them enough that they didn't end up injecting me with anything. If my mom weren't there and witnessing everything that was happening, I really believe they would've injected me with something, and probably would've taken me to the hospital, taken my blood and then try to charge me with being intoxicated with whatever they injected me with, and denied that they injected me.

I cant understand for the life of me how these trained "protectors" couldn't tell by his voice that he wasnt doing anything wrong. He was even apologizing while he couldn't breathe right. It made me cry. Every town needs to have a meeting where the cops and citizens come together to talk, socialize, & be able to count on each other. My town isnt great but at least our police department has had things like events with hotdogs & inflatable slides for community 2come meet the cops. They have assigned districts to cops to be able to call them personally with any concerns. At least their trying to build connections.

It's weird how we came out of the wild forest as original animals and start acting hypocritical. Man is an animal and will bite you if you attack just enough, will bite you if he feels the need too no matter if it's justified or not, you just need to reach the threshold. So our courts, police station and all that represent law and order are all hypocritical. The only person that can govern us is one that was never born and one that never died

If we as civilians commit a crime such as a felony, we get put in jail n have to be on felony probation and parole for 1-3 years when we are released. We would be fired/let go of any job we had and most definitely not moved to another department/building. We would also find it almost impossible to get hired because of our record. Why do cops get special privilages? They are trained to know, enforce and uphold the law so when they break it that should make them more at fault because they know better. If you never punish them for the misconduct and allow them to keep their jobs or be let go with pay, then they will keep doing what they're doing without fear of losing anything.

It started with Arbery case for me when he drop “Facts” but it turned out to be wrong and the mimichael were racist, instead of making a video with the GBIs facts on the case, he doubled down.
