thats what I like about ncaa. The interception rate isnt the same as madden, its a lot of dropped balls and it gives you another chance when you make the wrong read.

When the broadcast team started talking about the history of the Iron Bowl rivalry and not playing for that long, how it started. Man that made me excited. Madden commentary is not a hard bar to beat but that exceeded my expectations. I really feel like I'm a part of the game because thats what broadcast teams do. They dont always talk about whats happening on the field at the exact moment. That got me excited.

So at 11:51 is really neat and impressive to me, the fact now a player can fumble without going down themselves, as he was hit in the arms/hands and kept running down field but lost the ball, that’s a small but amazing detail I love it, also the audio feels electric

The audio of the bands are great. Unfortunately, they gave every band black pants, even if it doesn't match with their school colors. And the animation for each band is not great. Most bands stand still when teams run on, but this game made every band member look like they need to use the bathroom on the field lol

Shout out to the sound engineers, the way they made the crowd noise so intense but perfect enough to let the commentary, band and stadium music cut through very clearly. Sound like a real game, EA yal showed out with this one.

Wait till the people can actually review the end product, EA is known for fumbling the release. The discourse for this game will end up being the same as madden, the usual critics will pick it apart as a madden clone and the diehard fans/content creators/shills will defend it as being completely different because of the atmosphere of college, bad ai is easier to forgive when theyre student athletes who havent refined their skills yet as opposed to veterans making millions. Until ea innovates a physics based engine with real collision based tackling/interaction its essentially the same game.

This is everything I’ve been wanting from a college football game my entire life, something the NCAA series could never do. Commentary sounds really good. The bands playing things besides the main fight songs and a few drumlines really adds to the atmosphere and realism. Crowd noise is great, but I think home field advantage is going to be TOO overpowered like it was in the mid-2000s NCAA games. But it's great to see the crowd react pretty realistically to what happens on the field. Wish we could've seen things like the coin toss, halftime, and quarter transitions. I saw a bit of the old NCAA 14 physics on a few tackles where players just randomly fell over in a way that didn't match how they were hit, and hope that gets updated before the final release. I kind of got into it almost like watching a real game. It definitely got me excited to play it.

I love the commentary but I wish they would be more chaotically loud with calling the play with a minute left and someone breaks away up field to take the lead… that brings way more craziness to the college football experience. Instead of rece saying he’s at the 30..20… have him say HES WIDE OPEN UP THE FIELD THEYRE GOING TO TAKE THE LEAD… make it crazy!

Just like NCAA 14 they haven't bothered to make end of game lead changes/walk-off wins any more exciting lmao I remember in NCAA 14 if you kicked a last minute FG it was "and they take the lead." In this game the crowd didn't even react to the winning fg.

As a base cover 2 guy myself, you cannot run it on 3 and long with the offense showing 4-5 wrs. I’m only in the 2nd quarter. Hopefully you can pull off the comeback!!🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

I like how instead of tapping the button to throw a lob ball or holding down the button to throw an absolutely inaccurate dart, you hold the button down, fill up the meter and then throw a well balanced dime with the right speed and precision. It’s almost like a basketball shot meter now and I like it!

I love how they actually fight for the first down after contact. There’s so many time in NCAA 14 where you get 4th & inches because they make contact and just drop where they’re hit.

Yeah, I was definitely surprised by that. But it really adds some realism. I wonder if that will change years down the road in Dynasty mode to reflect recent games. It'd probably have to be pretty generic, but that would still be nice to hear.
