I don't think people realize how impressive the tackle on Gibson was at 0:29. Tackles like that usually only happen when someone is off balance. Gibson lowered his shoulder and still got wrecked. This guy is a monster!

Reminds me so much of Lawrence Timmons. Both tackle hard and wrap their guy up, they shed blockers, both have a knack of hitting the whole hard and making the other guy pay, and both are solid in coverage. When people say your undersized to be a linebacker in terms of height it makes me laugh, it's honestly a more positive trait because it's easier to shed blocks and get underneath blockers, but also not hit a guy high and get fined, sure coverage could suffer a little bit, but the positives more than outweigh the negatives. Perryman looks like a guy that's ridiculously underrated right now from watching him.

I love Perryman. His coverage needs some work, but everything is there. This kid is so smart and diagnosis the play almost before the ball is even snapped. It's hard to find a devastating hitter now a days that can also tackle, and yes there is a difference. This dude is a punisher who has nice form. Sucks that he may slip a little in the draft because he is only about 6'0" maybe 5'11", but this dude should be good for a long time. I hope the Cowboys get him.

Coverage issues can be fixed. You can't teach the want to hit people! This guy is a very good form tackler. I would love to see this guy in a Packers jersey next season.

His Senior tape is going to be even more ridiculous. Best UM MLB since Dan Morgan 2nd best since Ray Lewis. This kid brings the hit stick EVERY GOTDAMNED PLAY. He's a 1st rounder for sure. Thank You, Denzel.

This kid is exactly what the Packers need and he's projected to go at the tail end of the first round. Packers draft at #30. Sounds like a plan.

Exactly what I was thinking. And I really like Jacob Hagen out of Liberty to play in the defensive backfield, also i think Nick O'Leary, TE out of FSU would be great pickup. Shawn Oakman looks like a good canidate for DE and we could use a solid pass rusher on the line. Lookup all these guys' highlights and tell me what you think.

Reminds me a lot of Ray Lewis, but not just cause of his number and college. He's shorter in stature much like Ray, he's an imposing and fierce tackler, especially in the run game, that's how Ray made his name. Can't wait to watch him this fall, I'll defiantly watch for him more.

You can tell he understands how to anticipate and to hit the right angles. When the ball carrier gets hit it's like a deer getting shot...just crumples to the ground. I'm a bit worried about his coverage ability when it comes to the next level, but I suppose Ray Lewis isn't exactly known for his coverage ability and he's considered one of the greatest linebackers ever. However you slice it this guy is fun to watch.

He doesnt have trouble diagnosing plays, hes patients...this is also his first playing middle i believe, going to be really good his coverage skills is the only think people can have against him and its not even that bad, hes been great for the U and anyone his is a hurricanes gan wouldnt dare talk badly about a guy whos put in so much work over his career

Reminds me of Patrick Willis but not as strong upper body. His tackling is on point which is a lost art in the NFL. Hes a early 2nd round pick but will probably go late 1st round

This might sound weird, but I think Miami should actually get a scrambling quarterback. In the 80's, Miami revolutionized the offensive game. If miami can get a scrambling quarterback and some new plays to modify the pro playbook, they would be UNSTOPPABLE.

He will be a household name in the nfl. The day of dominant MLB's is dwindling with players like Ray and patrick retiring but it's great to see athletic inside guys make big time plays. I hope the Ravens don't get him. It seems as tho they draft a linebacker every year hoping to find the next Ray Lewis.

zyzor Well Daryl Smith and C.J. Mosley should be more than enough. They won't find the next Ray Lewis cause there won't be another Ray Lewis (Maybe Patrick but he retired). I think their linebackers are pretty damn good.

I can see him playing for the 49ers being like Bowman or Ray Lewis or other great linebackers but will see where he will go when he goes to the NFL. If he already went to the NFL tell me which team.

With the 33rd pick, The (Oakland, Los Angeles, San Antonio) Raiders select Denzel Perryman Randy Gregory with the first pick, Add Suh in free agency. Denzel be between Mack and Sio. That will be a nice front 7

Suh never said anything about liking the Giants...he said his agent is picking who he plays for, he also wants to be the highest payed defensive player in the NFL. Oakland is a possibility sense they will have the money to pay him. unlike the giants who will want to resign JPP

Crap. No. Hope he don't go to the Bengals. That would be scary Vontaze is violent enough with his hits. Not fair to add another one. Rather him play for Dallas we need a real enforcer at LB.

I agree phin. Denzel is really good in run support, but in coverage he needs work. He would have to be able to cover at the least in order to be a first rounder. But anything can happen.

Well I like Connor Cook and I think he's going to be a really solid QB. Mariota would be a dream, and Winston doesn't seem ready yet. I'm not sure how to feel about Brett Hundly but I can see your point on Trae Waynes, the guy is great, and best part is that he's tall. But I wouldn't mind a not so big name Cb like Mississippi state's Talveze Calhoun

Perryman will only last til the top 5 picks in the second round. He makes his presence felt and teams know that. So I do think a trade up is necessary. Man Davante Parker from Louisville is a freakin badass. Kind of like Kelvin Benjamin

i know my raiders need a WR, or RB or Pass rusher in the first round but im just thinking... this guy with sio moore, and khalil mack would be the best young linebacking core to last YEARS... nick roach the vet cant stay healthy hes been out all season man and miles burris cant tackle so... i wouldnt be mad if they drafted linebacker first round or second.

Any draft pick on defense is good in my book. But Perryman is a special breed of middle linebacker. The Bears need to draft this guy in the first round.

Seth Rabin No way the Bears take this guy at their spot in the first round. That would be a huge reach given that Perryman is rated as late-first or early-second round talent. Last time the Bears reached like this in the first they ended up with Shea McClellin.

In the second round he'll still be there. And I hope the bears do grab him, an absolute beast he reminds me of little bit of chris Borland. But hey I don't know anything we have knuckle heads that say Shea is a "natural" athlete, a natural pass rusher and what not. For as I know we could be drafting a fucking punter in the first round!

What I mean sorry if I wasn't clear before. But there are other teams in need of LB especially someone like the Cowboys or Eagles. I doubt he makes it to the 2nd round is all I am saying if he does by all means. But I think by the end of the year he is a first rounder.

Dominique Easley is a bust. When he isn't on crutches he doesn't show any burst like at Florida. Even at Florida his burst was overrated and when he did get into the backfield he was nowhere near the ball. He should be fast.He is very undersized. He looks small next to Mayo even. He makes the slender Chandler Jones look like a monster. He gets pushed around in the nfl and had another knee injury. He is listed 6'2 near 300. He did not participate at the combine and I doubt he is that big. Looks more like 6'0 260 lbs which is very undersized for a DT. Mayo is a bigger player than he is. Looks likethe league will fine another #1 pick to try to hold back the patriots.
