What a cool family memory. The angle of the camera compliments the room and T.V perfectly, and everyone is either concentrated, confused, both and possibly awed. I’m glad to say I never got into guitar hero, or that dance dance revolution game, I knew people who were and I just don’t get it. To put that much effort into something like that, I’d rather take the time and learn something useful. Don’t get me wrong very impressive I couldn’t play twinkle twinkle little star on that game.

Coming back here over 15 years later & remembering how my Mom would sit & watch me play for HOURS, completely enamored at playing Expert w/hyperspeed (not this song! I could barely do this on Hard 😂). She passed exactly 2 months ago today, a month after I turned 37 & wouldn’t take ANYTHING for those moments with her. Your family, from just this clip, reminds me of my VERY small one, as they sat around watching me play GH1, 2, Rocks the 80s, 3, and eventually World Tour (which by that time I have developed carpal tunnel from wearing out 4 guitar controllers 😂). Those were the best of years & I miss them so much!!
