To new Indian football fans. You guys don't know what type of football India was playing before stimac. It was hopeless long balls. Stimac introduced to hold the ball no matter what the opposition is. I know his results were not good but under his coaching India reached under 100 in rankings after 20 long years. Some results were bad and some were good but don't disrespect him as he has given a much needed playing style to India🇮🇳 He failed but he tried honestly from day 1.

Great news for the Indian team!! We have seen that Stimac's 4-2-3-1 was not suitable for the players that we have.Thus affecting their performance..Proof is that in the Qatar match we saw how the Indian team played in the 3 defence system as there was a change in the tactics..Now new coach is likely to implement his tactics which will surely benefit the Team.❤

The problem is not the coach. He might not be the best coach for us but the players are not good enough at all. That is the sad reality. The main problem is the whole infrastructure of Indian football starting from grassroots not able to find talented youngsters and then not having proper physical, technical, mental and tactical coaches to guide the youngsters. Unless we fix this, Indian Football will move only backwards as other asean countries who are behind than us in the rankings are starting to catch us and will most probably get ahead of us like Indonesia who are showing great improvement and performing way better than us. If we are not careful, then we will be in the same position we were in 10-15 years ago. Hopefully, things change for the better!!!
