Childhood me would have loved this team. Trains and Transformers were some of my favorite things and bonus, combiners were allways my favorite. Somewhere along the way I lost my train love, but I would have still loved these.

I think for the price of them, you could only really justify them as collector's items, They do look pretty gnarly though

@@j453 Not sure, but they're certainly not cheap, dude. The Legacy-line Menasor is pretty expensive for main-line but it's a damn-sight cheaper than what this guy will be. I could see Hasbro putting something similar to this guy up as a crowd-funder for Western markets

Hehe, you're not wrong. Fortunately there's some 3rd party ones coming out (eventually) & Hasbro may make an updated CHUG version.

@@earthmanbrick I got the Moon Studios Raiden and while it's not perfect, I still love it. And I'm also looking forward to the small one. And if you tell me Hasbro's gonna try a chug version, I'm down for that too. As long as it doesn't cost a second mortgage.

@@UmbralMachine I have a funny feeling they'll be debating wether to do it as a Haslab project or as a slow retail release with a complete boxed version released down the line. Moon Studios one looks great & isn't cheap. I'm currently scratch-building a statue of one between other projects. With a plan to make a fully fleged Raiden combiner statue too. Man I missed Headmaster Opening especially the part of Head ON, Head ON, Head ON. Should use for Masterpiece Raiden since those series are the reason Trainbot is exist

He existed as a Diaclone toy long before Transformers came out. There was even a minibot version called Six Liner towards the end of G1

hehe, Raiden (Transformers) has been around since G1 (1980s), so it's the one that came out first
