This song is actually a cover by Superfruit, so I can see how you weren’t as invested since they didn’t write this themselves. But I’m with you, I absolutely love this video. Also Adam is an Olympic figure skater

I think this song was much more important in the moment it was released as kind of a reassurance to the fans and I can definitely see how it wouldn't have that much of an impact now outside of the context of that time. Plus it's not their own song, so that's another thing. But I agree the visuals are great and I love your reaction to the video. I love watching figure scaters too.

I consider this a gift to the fans after Future Friends. I am unsure if they will continue recording as Superfruit anymore and that saddens me but this song helps me put SF into perspective. The project has been a joy from the very first video when they introduced themselves to us as the two fantastic friends and singers from Pentatonix. They may be moving on and, if so, I accept it because what they have given us over the years has been so... complete, always their best whether they were singing or being the funny, interesting people we have gotten to know. This song makes me sad and happy and proud at the same time. Adam was a lovely choice and enhanced the poignant feel of the lyrics. I believe they fulfilled their promise to us, the Superfruit fans. They have, always, given their best.

Well this is a cover so you're right it's not as "them" as their originals you like so much. It's from the eighties and has that vibe to it. Love the skating in it too!! Thanks for reacting to it. I missed seeing superfruit!

i always watched ice skating , ice dancing and even ballroom dancing on PBS lol but i dont want any part of ice or snow either in fact the older i get the colder north AL is getting and i want to go further south! lol still cool to watch this stuff even if you never do it!

It’s interesting that you love all their songs from Future Friends and just eh about this one. This one is the only one that’s actually a cover. The original is by a group called Rome in the 80’s. Still a favorite of mine though. Maybe you’re talented ears picked up something our basic human ones couldn’t 🤣🤣🤣

Agree with everything you say - a really good recording, but not a great recording. I really liked the video, though, and like you I love watching figure skating though I will never attempt it myself.

Sorry, not enjoying this at all. I couldn't even make it through the whole song. As has been mentioned previously, this is a cover of a relative 80's synth-pop hit by When In Rome. Love the original! But country singer Sturgill Simpson also covered this song a few years back and it's fantastic. If you can, please react to both of those versions. I'd really like to hear your input.

i never liked the original version of this song and though they sang it great it was still a boring song. but hey they can't hit it just right every time especially with a cover.
