Pecharunt is.... something for sure. Design wise it's pretty cute but it just appeared out of NOWHERE after people caught it's silhouette in the Ogerpon story cutscene. Its most likely to be an event pokemon, if not then no one has found a way to find it yet.

A shame that Pecharunt and its story weren't included at launch. I get why Game Freak decided to delay this event (it's a mythical Pokémon with an entire side story dedicated to it, it's more than just a one-and-done quest to catch it like the Gen 4 mythicals), but I feel like in doing this, more people will be angry at the Indigo Disk for having content withheld at launch, especially if you were one of the few people that actually followed the leaks.

i love how not only were the “kieran is possessed by the evil peach!” theories wrong about kieran being possessed, but its not even involved in the main plot whatsoever like so many people thought. Honestly the biggest troll from gamefreak and i LOVE IT. We need more bait-and-switch pokemon from game freak because its so funny

@F1areon the specific “kieran is possessed” theory has been debunked entirely by the game. Nemona and Penny were never part of that batshit theory formulated by twitter users. Also, the idea that it’s involved with the main plot was also disproven as not only is the main plot completely over, but the mochi mayhem thing is a completely different plot, comparable to a spin-off show.

Big fan of Pecharunt's little bastard energy I know people are probably going to want this whole event about possession to be super serious and angsty (and I do too lol), but ngl this goofy ass theme makes me hope it's silly instead. Like Nemona hates battling, Carmine becomes overbearingly nice, etc.
