The crazy part about this is its talking about the plagues of Babylon, accurately showing the wars with the sea peoples and the birth of leprosy which was the final plague before the fall began. To showcase the past and still have a prediction for the future is a nothing short of amazing.

А я по обложке купил manowar где то в 96-98году, да ещё на кассете с плохой пиратской записью, послушал вообще не чего не понял и откинул в долгий ящик, и спустя пару лет наверно делать ее чего было думай дай ещё раз послушаю в наушниках тока, и вот тогда я стал приверженцом пока, Хеви и все что с этим связано)

This is my first listen. Usually it takes a few times before I get into a song, but this one is pretty catchy. The lyrics and theme really line up with this day in age. Word for word it's spot on.

Meh it's ok but they are pretty "samey" with their music and it's just too emo for me. Usually metal of all kinds makes me happy. It's a rally cry. Iced Erath is the opposite. Not to mention it is usually really slow. In the list I would replace Nightwish very easily with Tarot. Helloween is much better than Dream Theater I think. They only had one good song LOL.

Forget a fan, I’m a Matt Barlow disciple, but I will say...I have a strong feeling Stu’s voice is going to age like fine fucking wine if he continues to take care of it. He’s going to be able to hit those lower notes possibly even better than Barlow one day. Thank god we still have vocalists like this around 🍻

Agreed, but with one caveat: The Ripper absolutely killed The Glorious Burden. Absolutely one of my favorite IE albums, I know that's an unpopular opinion.

I notice there's a lot of people still freshly discovering IE, which is great, and just wanted to put out there that Jon Schaffer was abandoned by his "friends" and bandmates for standing up for what he believed was right without hurting anyone. The future of the band is up in the air right now, but as far as I'm concerned, Jon and the true fans are what make Iced Earth and so long as we will it to, Iced Earth will live on.

Been listening to this band since I was 12 and I remember in high-school 2008 or 9 listening to the album Framing Armageddon and I had no idea what it was about and recently put the disc into my car and listening this time around I realize what it all means. F-ing crazy stuff. Thank you for your dedication and amazing art. Even the name of the band, ICED EARTH makes so much sense

This song violently brings me back to what we are experiencing in Italy: a health dictatorship disguised as democracy and protection of the people from the pandemic. Now, they protect the pandemic from the people. I confirm every word of what is written in this comment. Our country is experiencing the sleep of reason where many citizens are cheering on their own executioner. Democracy is suspended indefinitely and personally I begin to seriously fear for my and my loved ones' freedom and life. But we will sell our lives dearly. Whoever is reading becomes aware of what is happening here and tries to communicate it to as many people as possible. And take Italy as an example of what shouldn't happen in his country. Eh. A plague is different than a glorified head cold and cough. The plagues of Babylon like it described in the song will drive people insane and rot their flesh away. Basically turn them into zombies before they die. However they are right. The earth is overpopulated so instead of going to war? I’d bet you anything the government has tried different things to decrease it. If you want a true look into the end of days listen to “seven seals” by testament. It has so much weight to it especially if you’ve read the Bible or doctrine and covenants. Knowing the raw power the devil and Michael have... it’s some scary stuff.
