@@um_runa She debuted under JYP as part of a vocalist duo named 15& in 2012. She went by the name Jimin before but now is Jamie. She left a few years ago and has been a soloist since.

I love the energy and the message of this song, it’s strangely positive and comforting in a way. Like, a lot of people have been there... this feeling of hitting rock bottom, everything going wrong and yet instead of giving up and into despair you just get your sass out. Also, I love Jamie‘s vocals, they are no joke. Very unusal and deep for K-POP.

I really had no idea she was hiding this voice. She needs to make music in the USA - Korea doesn't like her powerful contralto sound, they seem to want soft soprano types of female voices for kpop at least.

I think she tried to be a bit softer in the beginning, like with her 19to20 album. Most of the songs were ballads and pop and I think she might’ve been holding back a little to appeal to Korean audiences.(This is just my speculation so she might’ve said something differently) But now she doesn’t care and wants to do whatever she wants.

Wow. I'm so sorry for being late. I only knew her from Monster cover and a few clips from Dive studios. I find her funny so I kept on watching her on TikTok but never really listened to her own music. I follow her on Twitter so I know she had this song released but didn't really payed attention to it. 'Stay Beautiful' both the original Korean and the Jamie (English) version are so beautiful and have such an important message. It was her last song with her former company JYPE. The two other songs are features, (she has done a lot of them last year) but both of them are my absolute favourite. 1. 'Runaway' by Owell Mood ft. Jamie and 2. 'For a minute' by Justin Oh ft. Jamie. The first one has a latin vibe while the second one is a dub-step kind of song. I can't leave out Jamie's official remix from the song 'Best Friend' by Saweetie ft. Doja Cat. Chanmina is also featured in this remix and her verse brags about her 'best friend' Jamie's verse.
