He’s right. It seems like 90% of Raw is taken up by the divas. Their matches seem like they go on forever while the men get maybe 10 - 15 mins. Sometimes I don’t know if I’m watching WWE or GLOW. It’s Stephanie McMahon’s fault for forcing this feminist agenda on us.

The 20 minute town hall meeting promos....4 or 5 people in the ring, all with mics, waiting for each other to say their scripted line so they can say their scripted line. It's also a shame they have the largest roster in the world between the two brands, yet you only see about half of that roster on TV each week. And please , no more McMahon family on TV. It's bad enough they've made Shane a tag champ and the "Best in the World"
@brianm2881
@brianm2881 5 жыл бұрын
Everything about that show is so bland and sterilised. I'll give a perfect example of the contrast between 'now' and 'then'. When the Undertaker would come out during the Attitude and Ruthless Aggression eras, it'd be like 'OH GOD DAMN..... BUSINESS IS ABOUT TO PICK UP!!!' There'd be pyro bombs going off, the crowd would maintain a buzz right throughout the entrance, and J.R. would be commenting on the Undertaker and whatever feud he was involved in at the time during the entrance. He'd be putting the Undertaker and the program over. Well, that tapered off between 2004 to the last time he had a match. To the point where Undertaker's entrance is like a literal funeral procession. There is no crowd noise (at least none that comes across on the TV). It takes about ten minutes for him to get to the ring. The crowd sit on their hands. The commentators maintain a 'respectful silence', only very occasionally commenting things like, "The immortal Undertaker...' or maybe 'I have chills....'

He may annoy some people. Some people may consider him outdated, but the day he's gone, will be a HUGE loss to not only the wrestling business, but wrestling history. Giant wealth of knowledge. Thanks for all you did, and do, for The Bizzness. Guess it is just a habit from my youth to crave wrestling on Saturdays, MID ATLANTIC CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING to be more precise. Blackjack Mulligan shreads one of Flairs robes (actually that was the Sunday morning 12:30a.m. show WORLD WIDE or was it WIDE WORLD?). Yellow feathers filled the studio and I was captivated over a robe. Don't remember details like Mr. Cornette but that image ran on the shows introduction for at least a year. The briefcase of cash Flair offers Steamboat to aid him in his battle against The Andersons which eventually ends with Steamboat turned on and, of coarse, Steamboat had refused to take a penny. Paul Jones and his heel turn. Don't remember anyone else, maybe Baron Von Rashke, involved in the turn but it had such a bad feel to this young fan...my heel turn cherry was popped. Not relevant to topic but some wrestling memories.

Bailey is a beast, too bad they gave her the belt in early 2017 too fast. She deserves more singles matches. And yeah 2 much women's matches.

1 women's match is too much, but I know it's part of the game now. But having three is ridiculous.

@@thejmc4074 So many women... yet their tag titles are crossbrand, not one per show... No cruiserweight, tag or IC/US titles/divisions... 30 women RR for the "top belt"
