All I can say about Pockets is I know it's a gimmick but I would do my best JBL/ Stone Cold impersonation and whack him until he was in a proper wrestling match whether he wanted to be or not. We would find out if he had any wrestling holds because he would have to use his hands in order to prevent these hands from whooping on him. Now I know there are people out there that will say it's his gimmick but to those people I say gimmicks like that make him a joke in the business and ruin not only professional wrestling but sports entertainment. I was ashamed that Tommy Dreamer was willing to work with this douche. I actually lost some respect for Tommy Dreamer. I know Tommy's collecting as many paychecks as possible for the day when his back finally explodes completely as he's been wrestling against doctor's orders for 20 plus years but you can't be a hardcore icon and not do massive damage to a guy who won't raise his hands...

Seth Rollins did a white walker thing from game of thrones for WM and he's had a few others. Johnny Gargano wore a wolverine kinda thing recently. Im a nerd. I like wrestling. As an Brit, hearing your rant on the founding fathers is so, so, so fucking refreshing (especially from an American). The "pilgrims" didn't agree with religious freedom, they CHOSE to leave England because they didn't think people should be allowed to believe different things. They weren't being chased, they weren't fleeing persecution, they were fleeing acceptance. The USA's gun laws are completely ridiculous, bullet proof fucking backpacks says everything. A lot of people miss understands jim on why he likes older wrestling and doesn't like new wrestling as much and the reason jim likes older wrestling better is because it meant what it said back than vs now where it's spots, cheesy gimmicks and wrestlers who make a joke of the business as a whole and not just the company there in.

Holy shit, Corny's rant towards the end about gun control, or lack thereof, was an eye opener. I'm Australian and the concept of a childrens, bulletproof backpack is so sickening. To sell that in a store would be a constant reminder that your children aren't safe anywhere. Also, i couldn't imagine Big W or Kmart selling bullets "yeah, just down aisle 13 next to the shovels and fertiliser."

I feel bad for Leva, being saddled with that crap gimmick. The girl can actually work. Lucha Bros are ok, quite good actually. The Bucks on the other hand are complete garbage. Still, I'm holding out hope that AEW will do well. NWA has a TV deal upcoming as well, so things are sure to get interesting.

Yes I've noticed most untimely wrestler deaths have happened in the past 25-30 years more so than the previous 25-30 years. Guys like Verne Gagne, Stu Hart and Lou Thesz lived to an advanced age while so many haven't even lived to be middle aged.

Jon Moxley, Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, Cody, Hangman Page if pushed right, PAC when he joins, Trent Baretta, Christopher Daniels, Kazarian, MJF. There's 10 then there's guys like Scorpio Sky, Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus, Darby Allin, Dustin Rhodes, and Shawn Spears to back them up. My biggest criticism for AEW is the lack of a women's roster but the male roster is solid and I'm sure more will join.

About 16 minutes....sad how many have gone too soon. Besides what Jim said, I think too the older wrestlers were raised by people who survived the Great Depression. Among other things, figure that taught them not to fritter away money stupidity be it on lavish possessions or illicit hobbies.

Jim was the Dave Meltzer before there was Dave Meltzer. Jim used to follow, and report on the business before he got into it.

If I was a new young heel, I'd join AEW, get a *LIVE* TV match with Ryan. I'd go *off-script* & sneak heel buddies in the front row. They jump-in, *we attack his balls hard* , they hold him down, I'd grab a mega-phone & *break ALL of his fingers* for REAL(1 hand only)one at a time as I explain why. I would be arresed for REAL. It would make ALL HEADLINES, I'd be fired & *my heel legacy* will be cemented. After a year of outrage...all the REAL men in wrestling would be *fighting over my contract.* A classic heel(like Brody) that fans & other wrestlers are afraid of that *always guarantees* asses in the seats.
