Awesome race, love the old school driver input challenges. So much more entertaining to watch, cheeks hurting from smiling all the way through lol. Once Luke got his launch game down it was over, but if Andy could get his launch down it would be sooooooo close. Another great OG battle, cheers J

🤯 My god, how EXCITING was that. This race really brought me back to my youth. I felt like I was 16 again, laying eyes on that S14 for the first time, then now seeing 2 gens of that car. Man, big, big, BIG shout out to both boys on these two bad boy old school builds. But he you see Lukes face once he clocked how to get beast S15 down the strip he's was Gassed and he got me Gassed too 😂😂😂. Yes Mr GeoByLuke mad love bro. Luke was short shifting & sugar footing 1st and 2nd gear in the last 2 races so it wouldn't spin too much then full send in 3rd gear while the other guy was just full sending in all the gears

Exactly thats why he won both at the end he was gettin the hang of not launch the car too hard which wouldnt cause him to wheel spin unlike the 1j was launching too hard which cause him too lost by car lengths.....just like the one with supra where de dial back down to a lower boost an started winnin against the vw cause he was launching to hard an losing..

If you've never driven a proper drift car it might be hard to understand but drift cars usually are setup to have all the power hit down low in the rev range not up top. The amount of feathering of the throttle you'd have to do to keep the s14 in grip would result in the s14 being slower anyway. All of those techniques are great but they only work to a certain extent. If Luke drove the s14 he would've had the same issue

Out of the 2 I’d take Luke’s, I love a big power 4 pot. 700 brake out of a 4 cylinder will always be more aggressive than 700 from a 6 or 8 cylinder. Both lovely motors tho

Wow, I thought the 2JZ would have had more torque once they hooked up and pull passed the SR20 in the roll races, really impressed with the SR20 for sure. Awesome races. And the SR20 won the first drag race, not sure how they couldnt tell that.
