@@andrewlyles3628 @Miss_Equinox Yep. J.None is actually classified as a Baritone (that's what he has on his LinkedIn). He has a crazy range. He sings, mostly, Third Tenor for VoicePlay behind Eli and Cesar. He's also the back-up Bass for Geoff for when Geoff has to sing Lead and Layne is stuck on Vocal Percussion. So if you ever hear a Bass Line in a VoicePlay song backing up Geoff and Layne is doing Vocal Percussion and J.None is in the song, it's likely either Geoff layered or J.None laying that Bass Line. I believe all of VoicePlay has the range to sing Bass, if needed. Cesar is also classified as a Baritone despite being Second Tenor behind Eli. And even Eli, their Primary Tenor, I've heard has a mean "Morning Voice" Bass. So yeah, literally, the entirety of VoicePlay can sing the entire vocal range from Bass to Tenor with Eli and Cesar able to hit that beautiful High Rock Tenor. J.None can actually get up there too, though not quite as high. However, when he hits that High Tenor, he tends to sound less "Rock" and more "Pop." As in "The King of Pop." The higher J.None sings, the more he sounds like Michael Jackson. The timbre of J.None's voice is smooth and buttery, very much evoking R&B and Motown whereas Eli's voice is definitely heavy on the Rock Grit. Cesar, on the other hand, lands in the middle. He is vocally flexible enough that he can go either way with the timbre of his voice.

I believe that their cameraman transferred out of the area so they are using an iPhone right now to film everything. Their Christmas one was done with iPhone but it was a series of cuts so it wasn’t obvious. But this is set up just like the minis but it is their release for the month. You missed that the footsteps of the elephant wandering by in the background match the percussion in the beginning. I also like that the hippo opens his mouth really wide when Cesar’s going for one of his whistle notes. Someone posted that those really high notes were C6 and a D6. I don’t know precisely what it means, but I know that it’s really really high! There is so much going on in this not only vocally but visually. It’s always a treat when we get to hear Layne sing and then we got Violayne as well!! And be sure to check out the recent minis. They did a beautiful barbershop quartet version of “Pure Imagination” as well as an adorable Baby on Board featuring Asher! It is out on their Patreon channel, but I’m not sure if it’s been released on YT yet.

I had to watch this twice - I got so caught up watching the critters the first time that I had to watch it again for VoicePlay! I always loved the Tokens rendition but this was terrific! The singing, harmonies, beatboxing & the dancing & comedy! Great reaction.

I have always loved this song. It is so playful. I don't stray often from Home Free but had to for this and definitely was not disappointed. Always love your reactions. I am waiting to see you react to the just dropped (about 4 days ago now) Home Free, Skull And Bones. It is the long awaited Home Free official video and boy was it worth the wait. They really out did themselves for this video and have set a whole new level of expectation for their videos moving forward. It is like a 4 minute movie trailer or mini movie. Definitely a must see.

It started out as a mini but Layne and the guys were having so much fun, Layne extended it! It's not only full of memories, but lots of giggles too. Cesar hit some new notes, C6 and D6, J None not shabby either. Eli does Layne's water drop. SO MUCH FUN. I never get tired by this - they guys look so happy - just joy.
