Contendor for best game thus far?

He's always had my favorite throw!

His throw is great, some of the things he say's put me off him. A bit like James Wade, you want to like them but they come across pretty average in interviews. RVB was my favourite throwing action, if he had a better mind set he would have been unstoppable I reckon!

His throwing style has always been smooth even nearly 20 years ago in the BDO. Too often though he's been more worried about other people in matches.

@@dieseldog2457 Yeah I agree Merv comes across quite arrogant at times looking down on other players who celebrate but he is without doubt one of the greatest throwers in the game. I'd like to see him go all the way

Hes been playing brilliantly of late. He had a best of 5 set practice session with rob cross before the event. Beat him 3 0 and had multiple 11 dart legs

King's never won a PDC ranking event and he's had chances especially with six finals. Peak King was losing 11-10 to Wade in a final having been 8-2 up. He also underperformed in his two BDO finals in 2002 and 2004.

Why hate him? You dont know the guy. He gets annoyed when hes playing badly as anyone would and he hates the showboaters. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. His darts do the talking unlike other dart players who chat shit and deliberately try to rile people up

@@bradleywortley8874 You don't know the guy... 🤣 What a BS. It's obviously never about the real person, but the player you see on stage. King is often mimicing his opponents and makes fun of them. That's also a show. He just could ignore other players and state afterwards that he doesn't like showmakers, like others do frequently. And he was a sore looser very often. If you like him that's okay, but there are good reasons to not like the Darts Player Mervin King. (Sorry for my bad english and merry christmas)
