The difference between good and great players is being able to checkout and this tournament is a brilliant example of that. All the favorites won, but many of the matches were really close. The"good" players not being able to checkout when it matters is why none of them won.

@@kansmansen8609 I can also see this on a way lower level. On a good day I maybe average 65 and I'm playing just for fun with my friends. We all average about the same while they are scoring much better and missing 7-10 darts on the double, while I usually need 4 at most. I don't know why, but for me hitting doubles comes kind of natuarally while the T20 doesn't want to be my friend. 26 and 41 love me of course ;)

Abdulnasser Yusuf at least won a leg for Bahrain last year. But sheesh for the qualifiers for Bahrain having to face off against the number 1 and 2 in the world Respectively is such a steep curve to start a dart career.

It’s more like a “chuck” than a throw. Zero follow through. Arm all over the place. He’s lucky they go anywhere near where he’s aiming.

Can someone explain to an avid dart player from the states. I know there's the pdc championship...the premier League of darts but what are these other tourneys? Seems to be a lot I'm trying to understand who's playing who and how and for what.
