I wonder if they realise that by showing the winner in the thumbnail they are reducing the amount of view minutes and reducing their exposure with the algorithm. I certainly didn't bother watching it all seeing as they ruined it.

Unfortunately the commentators have to do that for those watching live but I'm 100% with you on the thumbnails. Put the winner in the thumbnail like 1/4 or max 1/3 times to keep the viewers on their toes.

These comments from the commentators are not added after the video. These are from the live coverage so unless you want a mute video for 45 minutes the comments have to be there. As for putting the winner in the thumbnail, I couldn't think of a possibly dumber way to do it. They're losing views which just hurts them overall.
