One of THE best sessions ever. The standard was outrageous. Heta with that 117.5 was the icing on the cake. 3rd highest ever on the Euro Tour.

He was so unlucky.his level dropped in the last leg and a half.he was sat on 127.04 with 1 leg to go if i remember correctly-i watched it on tv so i cant fully remember but it was something insane like that.he threw like a 41 a 60 and a 59 in last 2 legs and missed 2 at doubles. He really coulda done something remarkable-and hes such a likeablke fella-i was laughing my ass off at him dancing about behind Mickey Mansell practicing. Aussies are fuckin top blokes-its in their dna.nothings too much bother,nothing fazes them and usually they are funny as hell.

Littler was leading humphries 6-0 head to head since the worlds. He made a point of saying in his interview " ask Luke if hed rather be losing 6-0 to me but he won the worlds final" Littler would gladly trade if he could he said afterwards and i feel the same.

As an Aussie, seeing Heta produce these short sessions of explosive scoring is very encouraging. He played a similar match against Luke Littler a few weeks ago. Generally speaking, Damon's been outscored at the business end of big matches and Luke Littler's rise along with Luke Humphries' dominance when playing anyone not named Luke has made it very clear that if you plan on winning big events, you have to be able to string together consistently high scoring. Perhaps Damon will be able to produce these bursts more often and more consistently. If so, he may well go higher than top 10 and threaten for big titles.

In the Smith v Barneveld match, Smith was upset at someone in the crowd who didn't keep quiet (confirmed at the post match interview) Then, in the Humphries v Littler match, someone was annoyingly shouting "Luke, Luke, Luke" the whole time. Crowd control needs to be better as the darts itself was terrific.

Damo doing Australia proud, but he has to follow that up with more well above 100 averages to progress to a final. Humphries finally getting one over Littler, but he has seemed slightly off over the last few weeks compared to how invincible he looked before then. I was actually surprised to see that both of them averaged fractionally above 100 in that match. Schindler will be kicking himself for not hitting two match winning darts, but still averaged 106 in losing. The depth in high quality dart players seems to be greater than it has ever been. Hard to find easy last 16 draws these days.

Well that makes no sense at all. He thought he had 63 left coz after he hit T4 he thought he had 51 left and went 19 D16. If he thought he had 79 left he would start on 19s. If he had 79 after hitting T4 he would have 67 left so he would have gone for the 17 segment to leave either Bull or D8.

Disappointed with the commentary during the Heta vs Mansell game. Heta was outstanding, for sure, but Mansell averaged over 100 and never got a mention from the commentators despite putting up a valiant resistance all match. Poor commentary.

The PDC need to start throwing people out who are persistently shouting and whistling and what sounded like barking when players are throwing. It’s annoying when watching, can’t imagine what it’s like to play during it.
