This very beautiful man has one of the most melting voices that I've ever heard. Saw him in Bedworth (England) in 2013, and met him backstage after the show - such a gentleman :)

He did an amazing job. I love how amazing he sounds, I am proud of him. 💕 And this is exactly how I view faith, that there is supposed to be unbelievable and happy moments as well as pits and struggles. It is peaks and valleys and it is ok to be a Christian and feel like this as well, this Christianity is not supposed to be awful suffering all the time. I view God as a positive God though I know sometimes we have affictions as well💗

2:25 - 2:33, I never saw this show as I'm American, but I always adored that moment. Even though he didn't win, the runner up Keith Jack still goes to hug Lee who won and is crying. It warms my heart:)

I'm Perry Cree. This takes me back to 1974 when I was in the children's choir in the production at the Leicester Haymarket theatre which starred Maynard Williams as Joseph (Bill Maynard's son). I appeared in the show for all the revivals until I was fifteen, such fond memories. One of the brothers in the 1974 production was Alan Rickman and it was directed by Robin Midgely with the late, great Robert Mandell overseeing the choir vocals.

I watched the bbc show and saw Lee win the roll of Joseph. I watched all the shows they made picking people to play the lead rolls (Joseph, Maria, Oliver + Nancy, Dorothy & toto). I wish there had been more shows.

@@EmmelineSama if you put in the shows names into KZfaq they should appear. Joseph One was - any dream will do, sound of music was - how do you solve a problem like Maria, Wizard of Oz one was - over the rainbow, & Oliver/Nancy one was- I’d do anything. If you put in the name of the show then put season 1 episode 1 next to the show name it should come up with the first episode of the show and then it will give the other episodes in the video bar. If not just look for the specific episode manually when you get to it. Hope this helps.

There were also Canadian versions of "Maria" and "Over the Rainbow" in 2008 and 2012 respectively. There were also plans to do a version of "Any Dream Will Do" here, but they fell through

Out of all of the Joseph's I think Lee Mead's portrayal was the best. Obviosuly the older ones had great vocals, but Lee's vocals are truly out of this world.

You can tell this is 2007 just by the CGI effects in this music video❤️❤️ But I was so happy Lee won but was so torn with who I wanted to win, especially when he and Keith were the finalists and they were the two I was rooting for all season 🤣🤣🥳🥳

i do remember this and being totally unaware of it at the time.... however in recent times i have grown to enjoy the jason donovan version of this, and have gone to listen to this version... and appreciate it too. for an outsider unaware of this show/musical and totally aware through curiousity this song. i enjoy a lot at the moment.

St Anselm's Catholic Primary School 1994 play called Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat recreating a story from the old testament. Just wow! I can't believe I found it. Such nostalgia.

As a quoir member of 2 productions at Her Majesty's Theatre Aberdeen during my youth it occurs to me the reality is......IT IS said Youthful Choirs that make "Joseph" SO POPULAR! How many audience members throughout the years are THERE for the production? *AGAINST how many parents, family and friends are their to see their child, grandchild,etc?*

this is the first time i've seen anything from this show. i could not imagine how they'd pull this off, --it is Way more upbeat than i imaged!,,,, i guess modern and different, since i know the story of Joseph very well,, and it's a rough rough story. So is this the Ending song??? Totally not how i pictured it. people seemed to like it... i Think Andrew Lloyd Weer is an amazing songwriter.
