This was one of the funniest episodes I remember watching when I was in high school. Once in a blue moon I'd stay home and dedicate that day to this show.

doubt it.. he loved doing Armstrong impressions and grew up during vaudeville era. Fake as his shoes but if you do somethin' long enuf, it becomes real.

He also was a doctor on _Three's Company._ He was Chrissy's doctor (season 4; episode 9) when Jack and Janet thought Chrissy was soon to die of her head injury.

I wish we could see the entire show and not just a bit of it. This is a good one, when they go to his house and he tells the doctor of the joke he's playing. He says "black people have a different sense of humor". The nurse, "I'm black"......Fred...then get to laughin.....
