Till is a certified pyro-technician, just another show effect made for the stage, check out "Mein Teil live", "Ich Tu Dir weh Live" oder "Du hast Live in Paris" ;)

Cool! The stuntman is from their crew/security, if I remember right. BTW: CC with Autotranslate works pretty well for Rammstein. Or the channels Bucksttabu and educatedmarine have most Rammstein videos with good english subs.

"Benzin" is the original name for the fuel that turns internal combustion engines. Americans call it gasoline - germans use the name after Karl Benz, the inventor of said engine - whomes legacy now lives on in daimler-benz cars ... The gaspump on stage is no coincidence.

It's a misconception that "Benzin" is derived from the name of Karl Benz. It is rather derived from the word "Benzol" which later was found to be chemically different from "Benzin" by chemist Justus von Liebig (cf. C6H6 "benzene" and the collective term for such hydrocarbon products "petroleum benzine" in English). The term "gasoline" ("gas" for short) is only found in North American English (and goes back to early product brands) while in British-based English the usual term is "petrol".

Great reaction^^ but if you are surprised about this change in Rammstein's style, you really have to react to "Rosenrot" , "ohne dich" and "Seemann"... they even sing ballads!

When I saw Rammstein live, they had a little island stage in the middle of the crowd with a suspended bridge between the main stage and the central one, some mad men helped lift a guy up on to it and he tried running over to the stage, never seen someone get tackled off a bridge so quick, its always crazy at rammstein gigs.

Another high "octane" track might be the 1986 track by Big Black called "Kerosene" It was two guitarists, a bassist and "Roland" the drum machine! kzfaq.info/get/bejne/e76GaaieuKi5fI0.html Sadly the few videos of Big Black are 1980s home VHS tapes so not up to much so this is just the audio.

At their start band just spill gasoline on stage and each other like Ensturzende neubauten. I wish to been there in days... Love when rock concerts are dangerous cause of performer not drunk douches around
