Innit, I knew a kid who was playing at youth level for a premier league club and when he told me he took the day off because his Mum said he could, I said you're crazy, another kid could take your place. I later heard he thought I was just jealous, (of course I was lol) BUT I wanted him to make it. Sadly I heard an injury finished any chance he had.

I started supporting Newcastle Utd in around 2009 so obviously I saw his breakout season in the flesh and honestly when he first broke onto the scene he looked like one of those players who would make it uno. Could imagine him leaving us and winning league titles with Chelsea. He was still flawed them but remember this was the era of Ballotelli, Adebayo, Ben Arfa, Taarabat etc so that didn't really seem to matter. My Dad often compares him to Saka saying that if Nile Ranger had that household that he could thrive in he could have reached similar heights. It is a shame however he seems, with age, to have matured and is doing good for himself so i wish him all the best. Players like him are why I fell in love with football

@@OffThePostYTNiles always been cool and popular, i grew up with him to a certain extent, his family and my family are like family due to the generations growing up in church - including us. The only bad thing to say which nile will admit himself to, is that choosing his friends/family he grew up with as a pose to taking football and the blessing it actually was at that time and for life it is really, was the wrong choice. None of us know deeply accept him and whoever, so we shouldn’t judge. I have a feeling it could be something darker than most imagine. Niles only a few months older than me and i have a feeling what I suffered from to this day is what could be the case with nile. All im gna say is, the devil is a liar, and we know better cmn from a christian background. Big up my bro tho and god bless, last saw him at church on new years eve/day💯

Friend of mine who lived in Wood Green used to tell me he regularly saw Rangers flashy Range Rover in one of the estates that gang members hang about in. I met Rangers mum a few times and you couldn't have met a nicer woman.

When Shearer looked like he was going to get the Newcastle job permanently after Newcastle had been relegated he did not want to buy a new striker because he had full faith in Ranger's ability, above Andy Carroll. Got to know Nile well over the years, unfortunately it was all about image and hanging about with the wrong crowd, me and a x-player tried and tried to turn his career around and send him far away as possible, a team was gonna give him a chance, 1 year deal with an option for another year but it did not happen, simply because of greed and he just simply could not get out of the circle.

i was a footballer one time.. the city knew me very well and they loved me, till my brain decided to go on the other route not a safe one and know i regret that i didn't keep my mind right and worked on my dream my life is not that great.. i still have people who telling me to start working again in the football field because it's never too late and i have a lot of talent but i feel like i can't go back in that mindset i don't know it's a weird feeling and in the present time i'm lost, very lost..

Almost all my club colleagues had good shoes and equipment for training and for the official games even they where poor most of my collegues very poor.. but they was pushed from behind by important persons, me i had to sell my phone to buy 1 pair of shoes fvck the phone i said, i buyed the best predator instinct shoes and i showed how happy i was for that decision that i maked to someone very very very important in my life and i was expecting that person to be happy but it didn't go very well. I felt like i died i don't know how to explain, but i continued to work hard i was a captain playing at my school and highschool while i was training at my club, the love was still there but something in me was off i had love in my heart and i had quick moments where i felt like crying for no reason. it was hard for me, i felt like the important persons in my life want me to quit so bad and i did it, many are motivated by the hate, but i wasn't.. i started to be aggresive outside the field, started to hang out with the most ruthless boys from my city.. it was easy for me because they knew me and they had compasion for me and they really tried to put me back on the good tracks, but that maked me more mad, i started smoking, drinking, doing bad stuff, hurting people, selling stuff, i was at the limit with the law but i always knew when to stop and chill i really didn't want to go to jail because if that happened now i'll be dead or the king of the jail i can't let no one bully me so fight till i die or some miracle beat all the bullies and be the king. As you can see my mind isn't right, i don't know what happened to me bro.. but know i hate the streets because the game is rigged and real persons are like diamonds.. very rare. I'm still young, over 25 years so i still have hope something good will happen for me :) now i just don't want to die without having a house and a family, i have a plan to get out of this situation i have God on my side so it's all good. :) I hope i answered your question, i tried to say it as short as possible and cut some dark parts. :)

UK legal system is a joke. This dude would be doing ten years in some states in the US. Habitual offenders never stop unless they’re in prison. That’s why they got the 3 strike law, 3 felonies of the same type of crime and your doing life. It has to be class A felony though and violent crime.

Behaviour and listening to your peers is everything. Unfortunately for Nile, he constantly did the opposite. He had virtually everything handed on a plate. People like him always learn too late. Very few people get the chances he got. He just wasted it all away. He's not the only one grown up without a father figure. Could have had it all if only he behaved. Once you have a police record, you are marked and they never leave you alone.
