Mikey has slowly been moving from background helper to a main character more and more in each video.

When cutting tree limbs using a ladder the first step is to not use a ladder but if you must, cut up into the branch from the bottom first about a quarter or half way then cut down on it, instead of swinging down and hitting your ladder it will just fall strait down.

Free engineering advice: if you don't want that new roof to eventually become a kite then a pile of splinters and twisted musicians, err metal, it would be good to pin it through the part that protrudes out the bottom of the stake pockets and have something heavy to attach it to when you lift it off - or store it on the lee side of a building. I was wearing my Demolitia Heatwaves at work and a crate I was moving caught a strap with a metal clip on the end of it and whipped it at my face extremely fast. My Heatwaves completely blocked it and chipped the lens right in front of my eye. I would have definitely either lost an eye or had serious damage if I weren't wearing them. I was pumped to be able to find an insane selection of replacement lenses after that!!

I'm 6'4" and I can just barely touch an 8' ceiling flatfooted in bare feet. Handy built-in measuring device. My thumbs are exactly 1" wide and my feet are 12" long. My cubit is 21" (that's elbow to fingertips)

Matt, the easiest way to remove it in a single piece like you want is when the time comes, just unscrew the boards that go into the stake pockets so they will not bind when you lift it up. When you want to use it on the trailer again, set it into place, slide the stake pocket boards into the pockets and reattach them to the legs. Trying to lift it up perfectly level with the boards in the pockets, will be rather difficult.

For leveling - use a 1/4 clear vinyl tube a little longer than the trailer and fill it with colored water. stretch it from front to rear and place the ends of the tube a couple inches above the floor. The height of the water will indicate level when its an equal distance above the floor at both ends. I know - better late than never...

Anytime you're along a river, everything is perfect.

Some extra upright support along the back wall would help .

Hey Matt, having been in a touring band, those trailer stages put the drummer way too close up, a riser in the back for drums or a walk out riser for the singer are great inclusions, just a thought from experience....

As a engineering designer i can confirm that the hand CAD is closer to the real thing than whatever program that was.

Should have used the backhoe to dig a couple of places for the trailer tires to go in so that the trailer would be/look level. I've done that many times and It works great.

Future reference: if your trying to make a header to span that kind of distance you can make it 3 ply and place the but joints staggered so that it's almost impossible for there to be any sag.

Good thing you are placing a cover on the stage. Rain is in the area and also potential severe thunderstorms to the east of you 1-2 inch hail in Eastern TX. You guys are on the edge of it, but it looks more like showers or weaker Tstms with mostly cloudy skies. I am a retired USAF meteorologist. The model data indicates some good thunderstorms east of you on Monday. However, I can't upload graphics to show you in more detail and explain what I am looking at for you guys.
