Old Broly is the real Broly for me. I like his design and his brutality. He is very brutal. The Legendary Super Saiyan backstory made him very unique.

I did not watch the new Broly movie but I am still going with OG Broly because he is what a Saiyan suppose to be. Not some overpowered soyboy wearing what looks like a turf around his hips. I dislike the legendary SSJ design for the new Broly. It looks dumb like a Conkeldurr from Pokemon. The old one looked badass and his arms weren't bigger than his legs.

I know this video was 3 years ago, so this comment may not be seen, but I think OG Broly had more to his backstory than "Goku's crying." Saiyans are prideful, so Goku making Broly cry could have hurt his Saiyan pride first off. Then you gotta consider that literally right after that King Vegeta attempted to kill him by stabbing him and left him and Paragas to die. Imagine all the repressed memories he likely has of that event. Not to mention that Paragas was mind contrilling him for a long time too, so all that pent up rage was coming out. Its easy to say it was just "Goku crying" but I would argue that it is more than that. OG Broly was also way more intelligent than new Broly if you watch the original Broly film. Not Second Coming, where the dumbed down version everyone associates with Broly comes from. OG Broly from movie 8 is better by far. I like your videos, love how you trash Super a lot of times, I wish DBZ would have stayed a finished series after GT. No matter what anyone says about GT, Super is the worst Dragon Ball series in my book. Super Broly actually ironically one of the few parts I like, but that was mainly due to the planet Vegeta parts. The lead up to the fight itself felt forced like you said, with no real build up. OG Broly movie 8 had the pacing and was the better fight and movie 100% in my book. Reverse what u said about old broly on to the new one. He trailed behind his dad because he was controled by the crown thats the reason flashbacks even show that old broly would attack his dad and could kill him. The crown keept his dad alive. With the new one its the shock collar.

Ok....OG Broly hated Goku because he cried.....that's it.....no solid reason just....he cried...... Super Broly hates Vegeta because he was forced to by his father. He was abusive towards Broly basically taking away his only friend forcing him to train and fight....he lost control and went Ikari form BECAUSE of his version of PTSD basically. He attacked Goku because of his loss of control. Yes Goku challenging Broly was out of nowhere but that's Goku as it is wanting to fight to test himself. Plus he was never truly evil. Well.... Super Broly has more charecter development than OG Broly and has more to say than just shouting "kakarot" all the time. The carecter design for Super Broly is almost as cool as OG one for my opinion in how he has scars on his training and shit. And for the out of the control, Super Broly goes out of control when he taps into ikari form so his father paragus, has to control that power so that he will not go destroying the planet like how OG Broly did. When Broly saw his father killed, his conscious came for a split second and gone to super saiyan and gone to same old out of control for my opinion

I would have to agree with you old school Broly but utterly destroy this new Broly Broly the Legendary Super Saiyan from movie 8 was a God of destruction before beerus ever came on the scene mean his character the spoke of an ancient warrior who is being crushed on the inside by fighting with this demons inside him made his overall presence was over-the-top to its height to the way his power amplifies it overflows I mean Dragon Ball super Broly really lacks a lot when it comes to overall threatening appearance when I first heard this movie was coming out I was just like man Broly from movie 8 is about to make an appearance again he's going to come back far stronger than he's ever been wreak havoc and Vegeta's and Goku are going to remember him for when they last fought him have chills run down their spines but nope I didn't get that interaction only thing I got what's a story that was average to say the least super Broly it turned him into a boring character but given how super always it tends to crush and Destroy characters adjust Ilse zaka continuation of Dragon Ball Z abridged I guess you can't ask for much more lower in the pot characters.
