ABOUT ME:
- I'm Cambodian and Chinese.
- I was born in November of 1983 (which makes me 37 years old) and raised in Houston, although my heart lays in between Houston and Hawaii.
- "OG KPOP STAN": I've always used the term "OG" (supposedly "original gangster") to define being old-school, and I became an avid Korean music aka Kpop listener/lover since 1998. Kpop was my coping mechanism from the bullying I experienced in my younger years and it's just stuck by me ever since. Also! Just to be clear: me calling myself an "OG kpop stan" doesn't mean that anyone who's listened to kpop later than me is inferior. A kpop lifestyle is a kpop lifestyle regardless of time.😄
- I was a hiphop dancer for about 7 years. I did the whole crew thing, auditioning thing, competition thing, choreography thing, dance instructor thing, so I have some experience in that field and I hope to be able to share some perspective from my experiences for y'all to see the extra things that I appreciate about a video when I point them out.
-My videos can have quite a lot of cuts in editing and/or my eyes will unnaturally blink rapidly sometimes. This is because of my neurological disease that came with my lupus nephritis (posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome). My thinking abilities and speaking abilities struggle to align at times.
- Yes, that's Jack Sparrow's ring that I always wear in my videos. I've been a Pirates of the Caribbean fan ever since I rode the ride for the first time ever in Disneyland when I was a kid.🤓

Every comeback has been a BANGER!!!! Everglow (IMO) has been the most consistent GG with killer songs/MV every comeback! Their vision, sound, and theme is very different than your Top Tier GG in kpop - I feel they definitely deserve to be Top Tier! Check out their song "Hush (from Debut Album)" - that shows off their vocals more. "Untouchable" (from latest album) and is another good song

Here’s some more Everglow performances to watch: DUN DUN (2nd comeback - Feb 2020) Moon (B-Side of their 1st album - Bon Bon Chocolat) - “chair dance” You Don’t Know Me (their cutesy side, b-side for their HUSH album (Adios) Salute (hard-cutesy b-side for DUN DUN) Player (this is much similar to their title tracks, it also has a small “beatdrop”) No Lie (soft side of Everglow) Untouchable (b-side for LA DI DA, retro vibe as well) Some tracks to check their vocals: D+1 HUSH (my favorite Everglow song) No Good Reason (no performance video yet) You can also check GXXD BOY - it’s so title track worthy (doesn’t have a performance video as well)

they recently went on yoo hee-yeols sketchbook its a popular show in korea where artists go to show off their vocal skills, their performances we re live there but also mia the main vocal/main dancer performed a cover of tango which was so good if you wanna check that out it was only a little over a minute. mia also has an ost cover performed at a fan meeting. for certain songs that show off their vocals id recommend hush or d+1 on their debut album which is a ballad. they recently came out with an ost that was very rap heavy if you wanna see their rapping skills as well.

there are certain dance covers id think you'd really enjoy. everglow are SO GOOD at covering boy groups it's actually insane. my personal favorite is nct u boss, they've also done love shot (a fancam of mia actually went viral for this one) and shoot out. they also recently put out dance cover relays where each member picked 4 songs to cover. mia covered all boy group songs, that's her specialty. the others did amazing as well. they're short but if you react to all of them in one video you won't regret it. :)))

You should really check out their chores for their b-side songs. It’s doesn’t go as hard at their title songs but I think they’re so creative. My personal favorite is their choreo for the b-side “Moon”!

Can you believe that every comeback, since their debut, has been better than the last? It's actually incredible. Everglow is easily one of my favorite groups that debuted last year.

Great reaction! Been waiting on this one. The choreography is strong with them and once you get to the covers, it becomes very apparent. They did a cover to NCT boss you would like.

Definitely check out their other title track Dun Dun, and they also have BANGER B-sides you should absolutely listen to! And if you want to appreciate their vocals more, watch their stage performance they recently did on You Heeyeol's Sketchbook. They did a combo of Dun Dun/La Di Da and Mia also did a cover of Tango and they ATE THAT SHIT UP!

Fun fact everglow members are all well rounded. We have 3 in the visual line (onda-sihyeon-yiren) 4 in the dance line, 2 main(mia and eu) and 2 lead (Yiren and Onda) All of them in the vocal line 3 of them in the rap line (eu - aisha- Yiren) And 2 face of the group (Yiren and sihyeon) Stan everglow, stan talents. Also don't forget to pray for Yiren and sihyeon fast recovery. They tested positive for covid-19 🥺🖤

Also something you might wanna check out is their Moon performance. I think there's a fun dance practice to that as well but I like the performance more. Sadly no music video but the choreo is really hard AND with chairs.

Adios dance practice is so underrated. I know not a lot about dancing but their formations in this are so powerful, especially with this many dancers. In the second chorus, where Yiren comes to the front and everyone is standing behind one another and then start to fan out to the beat into that V shape. It's powerful. Also the last dance break is SO synchronized, it's insane.

the way you said youve been sleeping on everglow hurts a bit, not because of you specifically, but a lot of other people do too (consciously). they deserve a big and strong fanbase with how good they are. literally they dont have even one bad song on their discography and to top it all off, theyre all visuals. like what on earth is going on anyway, thank you for your reaction! we'll be waiting for dun dun 😊

Ah yeah I definitely see the Lee Jung Hyun parallel. Btw V is still a top 100 song *to this day.* If anyone isn’t familiar with the song I recommend it 100%.

Please react to dun dun mv+dance pratice it's their only music video you have watched yet. They have b-sides that have choreo if you want to react to them (player, no lie, moon, untouchable, you don't know me, salute). If you want to see more vocals from them react to hush, d+1, and untouchable.

Suggestion: If you like Everglow and this song, i higly recommend 3YE. They're at the same level of girl crush as Everglow and they have similar (and amazing) songs/concepts and choreos (ok, tbh i don't really like their debut but all the other title tracks and b-sides are super top tier)
