ABOUT ME
- I'm Cambodian and Chinese.
- I was born in November of 1983 and raised in Houston, although my heart lays in between Houston and Hawaii.
- "OG KPOP STAN": I've always used the term "OG" (supposedly "original gangster") to define being old-school, and I became an avid Korean music aka Kpop listener/lover since 1998. Kpop was my coping mechanism from the bullying I experienced in my younger years and it's just stuck by me ever since. Also! Just to be clear: me calling myself an "OG kpop stan" doesn't mean that anyone who's listened to kpop later than me is inferior. A kpop lifestyle is a kpop lifestyle regardless of time.😄
- I was a hiphop dancer for about 7 years. I did the whole crew thing, auditioning thing, competition thing, choreography thing, dance instructor thing, so I have some experience in that field and I hope to be able to share some perspective from my experiences for y'all to see the extra things that I appreciate about a video when I point them out.
- My videos can have quite a lot of cuts in editing and/or my eyes will unnaturally blink rapidly sometimes. This is because of my neurological disease that came with my lupus nephritis (posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome). My thinking abilities and speaking abilities struggle to align at times.
- Yes, that's Jack Sparrow's ring that I always wear in my videos. I've been a Pirates of the Caribbean fan ever since I rode the ride for the first time ever in Disneyland when I was a kid.🤓

I knew you’d lose your mind when you heard and watched this! This is absolutely Minho and Seungmin’s song. They both shined in areas they’re not normally known for and I think it made a lot of people look twice at them. Triple threats, all of them. So glad you loved this!❤️

Fun fact: This Levanter choreography referenced their past choreographys that’s why some reminds you of their other song(like mirror,i am you, side effects,hellevator and etc) ; hence, this album is a Step out of Clé like exiting an era going to their Full Album which is Go Live where God’s Menu is (the storyline still connected)

Idk if you remember at the end of the Side Effects mv, how the boys find Hyunjin sleeping and Chan helps him up... it connects and transitions into Levanter with Chan helping Hyunjin up again. They’re artistic geniuses

As soon as you hear Seungmin's voice, your heart jumps out of your chest like tears and your soul is torn apart, and not every vocalist is capable of this. His voice is clear as crystal, soft as a cloud and deeper than the ocean, while being as strong and powerful as a hurricane. Seungmini is the real diamond not only of STRAY KIDS but of the entire K-POP industry.

The most amazing thing about this choreography is that it's actually made up of pieces from their previous songs, like a big puzzle. Theres elements from side effects, hellevator, miroh, mirror, double knot, and others. It makes the song feel like the climax of a story, like the MV is supposed to be. Yet if you're not focusing on the separate pieces, it feels beautifully unique at the same time.

No words can describe how much I love how Seungmin dances, his movements are so natural, as if he does not make a drop of effort, while absolutely always so clear and clean that he often performs some elements in the choreography faster.

Thinaaa, you should watch the Highlight Prequel Reel after this, it’ll explain the storyline and how all their music videos connect cinematically. And plus Chan is narrating it, I don’t think you’d want to miss out on his beautiful Aussie accent. Lol Levanter choreography is definitely one of my favorite skz choreographies ❤️

Levanter will always hold a special place in my heart bcoz it’s OT8 debut song. ❤️And u’re right when u said the dance move reminded u of side effects... they used a few symbolic moves from past songs.

For the uncertain, "바람" means "wind". A levanter is a kind of Mediterranean wind. You probably noticed, but the peak of Chan's cap had a silver panel on top; that's why it appeared to change colour as he tilted it away from the light...

you should react to their blindfolded performance. they performed this song live with live vocals and did this blindfolded dance break that literally blew my mind to the point of no return lol. they really are something else entirely. Not just as a kpop group in fact they arent like any other kpop group, but generally as well; just as artists. So incredibly unique and talented and hardworking. their chemistry is unlike any group i have ever seen, kpop or not.

Levanter will always be one of my favorite choreographies from SKZ! I love the storytelling it shows. And Seungmin's solo dance parts are my favorite parts of this!! I remember being SO SHOOK when I first saw the MV and he showed up. AHHHHH, so good!

Now that you just finished Levanter, time to watch the Highlight Reel which summarizes the whole concept from debut to God's Menu. Also, I'm not really sure if you already did but you shou also react to TOP, it's an opening for Tower of God anime but as Chan mentioned, it's still connected to their storyline especially in Levanter when the two moons finally fused. (If you also notice, these are all parallel universe concept but instead of sticking to actual "different version of you", it's more on identity confusion and all.) I literally just finished one of my exam and saw this, such a warm up for the next one. Thanks, Thina! Merry Christmas! 💖

I hope you can check out Weeekly! They are a new girl group which debuted this year, they are the sister group of Apink! They debuted this year with Tag Me and came back with Zig Zag! They are a young group with their average age being 17! They also use props in their choreography (in Tag Me they used Desks & Chairs and in Zig Zag they used square cubes)! I hope you check them out! They’re very talented! 🧡
