They actually had their mom fly in to the Ukraine for the finals of the Eurovision Song Contest in 2017 as a surprise because she was really sick and actually passed away a month later I believe. So that was a huge surprise for them because they thought she couldn't be there physically.

Your reaction is exactly what they wanted to achieve with this song, give strength to people who are going trough difficult times. Sadly their inspiration for this song, their mother, died shortly after their performance.

there Mam was very sick (no hope there) and had a long battle en died few weeks afther this contest. There Mam was there when they preformed it.

Great reaction! I can totally relate to what they have gone through, for I’ve lost my mom when I was 16. Music is a great way to express how you feel and to relate to your own experiences. I really hope you will react to my request I did a while ago. Willeke Alberti singing a beautiful translation of one of Og3ne’s songs they did on tvoh called: change will come during beste zangers 2016. That was written by their father when there was still hope that their mom could get well still. She is a reel storyteller and brings a song like no one else does. Truetype beautiful and emotional.

I was so impressed at the time in 2017, that these sisters were able te sing as well as they did, considering their mother being in the last stages of her life.
